Clean room, but the bathroom drain did not drain on the 1st room we were put in and in the 2nd room it was very little ... better. Shopping for furniture was great.

The staff was super-friendly and very responsive to all my needs. The room was very clean except for the carpet. The bottom ... of my socks were nearly black with dirt from walking on the carpet in the room. It seems like that's the case with any hotel (even ritzy ones); I guess they never clean carpets.

We stayed here for a short 2 day trip to the mountains. It was a good hotel. The room was of decent size with basic eminities ... and HBO on TV. The room was also clean and well maintained. For the price, this was a good stay

Everything about the motel was pretty good. Location was great , near the wedding , near all food and shopping areas. The ... motel was rather new so it was clean and the staff who clean were excellent. We had trouble with motel clerk one day, rather grumpy but everyone has a bad day. She was better the 2nd day. Found everything to be really nice, nice experience.

The Jameson Inn was in a very convenient location. Cracker Barrell, Waffel House and a Japanese Steakhouse were close by. The ... room was very comfortable and included a pillow top bed. Free wireless internet, a pool and small gym. Also, breakfast was great! There were bagels and a waffle iron to make waffels. Fresh fruit and a variety of other items.

fit our needs well

We were in Hickory NC strictly for furniture shopping. The Jameson Inn was in a perfect location to the many furniture ... outlets in the area. We only spent one night, but our needs were met. Breakfast was included with the room. There was a waffle batter machine and waffle iron all heated up and ready to go to make our own waffles. There were more than enough restaurants nearby for our other meals. The room was clean with a new tub/shower, sink, and fixtures. If we were to go back to Hickory, we would not hesitate to stay at the Jameson Inn again!

The Jameson Inn in North Carolina was a very clean and comfortable room.The price was very very reasonable and we would stay ... in any of their properties.The staff was friendly and very helpful.And my husband loved the continental breakfast it was better than average.A thumbs up. It was very close to all the major highways and near many eateries.

Small management glitch

Check-in was a bit rough. The first room on the second floor had not been cleaned from previous tenants. Then the second ... room I was sent was a smoking. Finally on the third room all was well. The clerk was pleasant and apologetic but after a long day those shifts are irritating!

It was the cleanest and most comfortable stay I have ever had, and the staff was most courteous. The room was pleasant, the ... bathroom was very clean. I especially liked the way the bed was prepared, as there was a light weight blanket between two flat sheets. The Jameson Inn, Hickory, NC, gets an A+.
