Great Location, Not Much to the Hotel.
Cheap US tourist Nov 1, 2009
The Hotel has a great location not far from everything and yet not too sketchy of a location. It was very disappointing that ... the pool was under construction with no idea of when it would be available again. So that and having only one working elevator for the 18 floors available was a bit upsetting.

I thought it was going to be a nice place, but i was wrong. after getting the key to our room we went inside it was very ... dirty, smelled funny, and did not look pleasent there at all. everything in there was old and the worst part of it is, that i woke up with bedbug bites all over my body. i think the plce its infested with them. now im home going to the doctor and hoping my house doesnt get infested to. i am never going there again, ever.

Good location, nice staff beware BEDBUGS
bedbug victim Aug 24, 2009
my overall experience was good until i realized that my boyfriend and i got bedbugs bites all over. we stayed for three ... nights but the first two nights we spent most of out time sightseeing. we might of gotten some bites but are not aware of it until when we got home we noticed more and more bites. not to mention we think we might have brought them home to our apartment and now we are trying to get rid of them. Aside from the bedbugs...the hotel is overall average for the price and location. it is within walking distance to all the attractions. there's a chinese restaurant and a cafe bistro in the same building. the room is big with a half size fridge, microwave, utensils, coffee maker, and sink. no hotel parking but there is parking at the 24 hr Safeway Lot two blocks from the hotel for $16/night

Worst Ever Experience
Ash Aug 4, 2009
We had booked 5 rooms in the hotel La Tour Centre Ville. Upon reaching there we came to know that they had reservation only ... for 3 rooms from orbitz and they did not receive details for the remaining 2 rooms. We had to accomodate 9 people in 3 rooms and to top that up the staff and director of the hotel were not helpful at all. The rooms were not clean at all. The staff of the hotel did nothing to make up for the goof up. They were just not concerned, to say the least. When we tried to contact the director, she declined to offer any sort of help or even speak to us saying that its her weekend. This hotel gets a zero out of 10 from me. Would never recommend it to any one.

Blackmontreal downtown
Panda Jun 22, 2009
This is a complex with apartments that have been transformed for short-term rent. The building was almost empty when stayed ... there (i only stayed for one night). Nice size one bedroom apartment with all the amenities that a modern average hotel has to offer plus a fantastic view if you are luck enough to get a room at the top (17-storey building). The chinese restaurant downstairs is a bit shabby.

Great location, not so great hotel
Penny Valentine May 25, 2009
The hotel had a greta location, right downtown. But the hotel itself was not very nice. It was clean enough, but the place ... was old and worn out. The pillows were extremely lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep on. We heard the staff making lot's of noise from 3am until morning.

Dre Apr 22, 2009
Was there for the UFC fights with my wife and I wish I would of spent more on a different hotel because the walls are not ... very sound proof and the rugs in the rooms were stained, the bathroom had hair in the corners of the room, and it had by far the hardest bed I have ever bed on.

Great Location
Anthony Nov 30, 2008
Set up more like a studio apartment than a standard hotel room, there was more space than one would expect. A furnished ... kitchen was a useful feature. The hotel is located so that just about everything is within walking distance. You can park your car indoors, and not use it again until you leave. Although clean and comfortable, the decor is very basic, and really needs some TLC.
