I traveled on business while staying at Eurostars. The staff was very helpful. From reccommecdations on where to eat to print ... outs of traveling on the subways and walking to nearby attractions they were excellent. The only gripe I have is how small the hotel room and hallways were. I felt that the arrangement of the room could be different in possibly making the room bigger. The hallway was also very small and so if there were trash left in the hallway it wasn't a pretty smell. For the purpose of business it was fine. Had it been for pleasure my review might be slightly different. P.S. Looking outside of your hotel room there is no view.

Eurostars Hotel--a pleasant surprise
QC Jogger Dec 19, 2009
Excellent choice and location for a reasonable rate in the financial district. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, ... offices, etc. Staff very helpful, friendly and responsive to questions/requests. Only recommendation would be to somehow fit a small work table in the Standard Room (it can be done--need space to work on laptop...).

Looks Are Deceiving
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly Dec 6, 2009
The staff at the hotel had to be the best thing about the hotel, very friendly and accommodating. [...] was very helpful and ... nice. But I will run down the list of all the things that bothered me and I didn't like. The first thing I didn't like was that although I called the hotel [...] ahead of time to notify them that we needed double beds when we arrived that was not available. We were given a small room with a pull out bed the size of a crib's mattress. The carpet in the room had no padding and was very hard. The heating barely worked. The elevator smelled like a mix between urine and lemon. The hotel is in need of major renovations. The bed felt like we were sleeping on the floor. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. The bathroom floor looks like it had been burned at one point. The water in the bathroom sink was brown until we ran it for about 20 minutes. The bar doesn't serve food and is not open on the weekend. The location is terrible. The shelving in the closet was put in crooked! There was no bible in the room. There was no robes....There is no wifi on the second floor. Construction going on in the area and over the hotel. Spend the extra dollars and stay in Downtown NY at a better hotel

Great Hotel
roxcfc Sep 29, 2009
This hotel was great. The rooms were huge. It felt like a small appartment, with two beds, living room area, 2 huge closets, ... bathroom, desk area and a mini fridge & microwave. Rooms were very clean and hotel staff was excellent! The hotel itself is located in the finacial district where there is not much of a night life but you are only a subway or cab ride away from anywhere you want to go. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel is that there is no room service. Other then that, this place is great.

Great Time!
DJ Jul 6, 2009
Had a great time! We had an Executive Queen room, and were hoping for an upgrade to a King, but unfortunately didn't get ... it. But the room was large and clean. Only downside was the bed and pillows. The bed wasn't super comfortable, but at least it was firm. The pillows were horrible, so hard they gave us headaches when we woke up in the morning. If you can, I recommend bringing your own pillow! But we still had a great time and we're planning on staying there on our next trip to NYC!

Best Place, Best Price near Wall St.
90 Countires Plus May 16, 2009
Right off Wall Street. Clean, quite, friendly and helpful staff. Free WiFi. The room was a decent size, nicely decorated in a ... Euro style. The TV was a flat panel mounted on the wall, refrigerator, microwave, nice size walk in closet. The room had an ironing board but was missing an iron. The bed was great. firm with nice decent bedding. Bathroom was all new fixtures with basin style sink. The room did not have a desk so you have to work on the bed. I would stay there again. Staff was very friendly and helpful suggesting where to dine or shop. I would definitely stay there again when in lower Manhattan.

Great & Relaxing Location
Relax May 3, 2009
Visiting NYC for the first time. This hotel was great. The only problem was the plumbing. We had to call the front desk to ... have someone come up and correct it. Overall the room was adaquate, very clean comfortable and quiet. Room had a wonderful skylight, however at night tended to be a little too dark, so I would suggest more lighting. Price was also great. We will stay here again on our next trip to NYC.

Good, Clean, Basic
Wotan Apr 22, 2009
When I checked in I found the room dark and too warm. A call to the front desk quickly fixed the air conditioner, however, ... and all was smooth sailing afterwards. The room was clean, and I didn't mind it overlooking an air shaft. The staff was friendly and helpful, even getting me a cab in the rain. I would go again alone or with a special some one not looking for glamor.

Nice Little Hotel
Kathryn Nov 23, 2008
I was very pleased with the accomodations. For me it was a bit out of the way-but that proved to be nice in the end. The ... hotel did not have much in the way of food service-but there were many places to get food that were close by-and that was my preference anyway. I would probably stay there again. The room was quite spacious and was very clean. The hotel was quiet. there was ample room to spread out and I felt very safe.
