Ranaissance Boston - Great hotel!
Wes Dec 3, 2009
Renaissance Boston Waterfront is a beautiful hotel with very nice ammenities. The bar area and restaurant are top notch and ... the breakfast buffet was extremely good. All staff were very courteous. The room and beds were incredibly comfortable and the view from my room was great. I got the best sleep I've had in weeks.

Great Hotel

I had a great experience at this hotel. Draw backs were it is not actual on the water so don't waist your time trying to get ... a view of the water. Also there is only one restaurant to eat at and it is a bit expensive. Walk down the block a little bit and go to Salvatore! Excellent food!!! Well worth it. You are in a quick part a Boston and need to take a cab or trolley to get anywhere. Room was nice, clean, smelled good. Had a great time. I give it an A!

OK place to go
JD Nov 23, 2009
The hotel was beautiful. Close to the T in downtown Boston. The room was beautiful with a nice view. Chose this hotel for a ... few reasons, the hot tub being one of them. But the hot tub was not working--we were very disappointed. Probably wouldn't go back to this hotel again. Not worth the price, probably could have gotten something similar (where the hot tub worked)for the same or better rate.

Perfect Weekend, Wonderfully Convenient
Matt Nov 22, 2009
The experience was wonderful. The valet staff was very informative and efficient, and the front desk help was great. When ... we initially arrived, we were welcomed just as you would imagine how a classy establishment would greet you. I have nothing negative to say at all about this hotel. In fact, the next time I stay in Boston, I will be looking at this hotel and this hotel only! Thank you

mary beads Oct 15, 2009
we paid extrq for a "waterfrontview" as pictured on their website. to actually see the water i had to stand in the far corner ... of the window and look past the building across from us. rather deceptive, "obstructed waterview" or something similar would have given me a better idea as to if i wanted to choose this room and its extra expense. The day staff were indifferent when i approached with my concerns. I was merely told there were no other rooms (Please note we arrived at the hotel at nine am so there was plenty of time until our four oclock check in to ready an appropriate room)

Excellent New Boston Hotel
Rod H Jul 9, 2009
Nice new Boston hotel. Stayed one night and went to dinner in the North End, Lucca on Hanover Street was outstanding and ... then took the T to the Red Sox game. Only negative was you had to transfer twice from the green to red to silver line to get back to the hotel which was only one block from station to the hotel entrance. Hotel is right at the seaport and saw the tall ships. Would stay there again.

My girlfriend and I stayed here over 4th of July weekend and were both pleasantly surprised. The staff was courteous and ... extremely helpful, the room was clean and the beds comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. There is a silver line mass transit station about a block away that goes to South Station where you can connect with the red line. Getting where you want to be in the city is very easy. This is a great choice for both business or leasure travel, and I plan on staying here whenever I am in Boston.

The "T" offers a 7 day unlimited pass to local trains, buses, subway, and waterfront taxi for only $15.00. It is a true bargain when used to see the city.

Open lot parking across the way - opposite starbucks. Beats the $41 valet or the $30 garage parking hands down and is convenient and secure.
--Overnight Super Stay, Glastonbury, CT Jul 5, 2009
The Boston Tea Party, which would have been a 10 minute walk form the hotel and the main attraction for us was closed - burned down last year! Nevertheless, it's close enough to get to all the sights yet you feel you are not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a big city.
--Lidia, USA May 25, 2008
GOOD 10 MINUTE WALK OVER TO FANEUIL HALL AND ANOTHER ONTO THE COMMON. THE AREA APPEARED VERY SAVE AND WELL LIT AT NIGHT. IF YOU WANT TO SAMPLE A LOCAL RESTAURANT THEN TRY THE ONE ON THE CORNER OF THE HOTEL BLOCK. IT WAS EXCELLENT. OTHERWISE THE SPIT AND SAWDUST FAMILY STYLE WITH PICNIC TABLES WAS JUST OVER THE BRIDGE. GREAT ATMOSPHERE!
