Would recommend to a friend!

The resort was in the perfect location for everything we wanted to do. The next trip we plan to Florida we will be staying at ... this resort again. The pools were heated, friendly and helpful staff, the room was beautiful. My 8 yr old son said " Your resort is AMAZING". Even if we didn't want to leave the resort to do other things, they had a lot of things to do just at the resort.

This is a well-run resort with spacious accommodations, a beautiful pool complex, and a staff that is eager to please. We ... encountered a frustrating problem with our room key that took about 30 minutes for staff to resolve after a tough day of travel to Florida. We also discovered a large beetle in the bedroom closet, but we would stay here again and are recommending it to family members. Very convenient to Disney World. My only regret was that we spent so much time at Disney that we didn't get to spend as much time at Silver Lake just relaxing and enjoying its facilities.

Check in good, room from the 70's, a/c leaking all over tile floors, maintance repaired it, leaky shower the entire 5 day ... stay, wash/dryer belongs in the garbage, badly maintained, photos on website maybe from when place opened in the 70's, beware not real time photos. elevator broken in the 800 bld and family on the 3flr, and yes did ask if i can change rooms but b/c i book on [...] staff told me NO. deal with it. STAY AWAY, Bluegreen Resort was much nicer last year and will not book this resort again...

We found this resort to be very clean and comfortable and only ten minutes from the magic Kingdom. The staff was very ... friendly as they helped us with directions to the attractions. The room was spotless and had everything needed from Washer, Dryer, to all appliances necessary. We will recommend staying there anytime. Very near to Publix and Wallmart as well as restuarants.

We stayed in a double suite and were very impressed from the start. Good size rooms that were clean and comfortable. Our room ... was on the 3rd floor and we never heard anyone(I do not know if anyone was in the rooms above or below us). Flat screen TV wasn't very good (ok screen but sound was bad) but we were not on vacation to watch TV so it was okay. When we are on vacation we like to stay on the go so we didn't use the pools or activities center but they looked impressive. We went to Disneyworld and Epcot. Easy commutes. We don't like to waste time in the A.M. so having McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts close by for a quick breakfast was convenient. Easy check in and unlike other reviews of some of the other time share resorts we were not bombarded with multiple requests for meetings. Of course we stayed 4 nights and left around 9AM and returned after 10PM every night. Next time we are vacationing in the area we will look to stay here 1st.

The staff all were very attentive and polite. The hotel is very clean, quiet and well maintained. The room was very clean, ... cozy and the balcony was screened in to keep out bugs. We enjoyed the pools, jacuzzi and the cabana bar as well. We visited all 4 parks that are close to the hotel. We took in 2 dinner shows that were cool. There are lots of shopping and restaurants close the hotel. We had an awesome time. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting florida. Would definitely come back again.

Nice resort with many amenities

We went to Orlando to go to Disney World and Epcot, so didn't spend much time in the room or at the resort. The room had ... everything we needed, but the worn out mattress with two body imprints in it was unacceptable. Management did nothing to remedy. There was a computer center, but the computers kept shutting down in the middle of our session. We did finally get boarding passes printed, but service was unreliable. The location of Silver Lake is great. Restaurants and the Disney properties are all within a short drive. Convenient to the airport, as well. Pools looked lovely, but we didn't take the time to enjoy them. Movies were provided for the kids and casino shuttles, too. If these things are interesting to you, this might be a good choice. Since sleeping is basically all we did at the resort and the mattress had outlived its normal lifespan, I would probably try another facility in the future.

Our room was very large, we lOVEd the size. The air condiontioning was wonderful, and the location was close to everwhere we ... wanted to go. The rooms are dated, though, probably needing an overhall soon. The only thing that really bothered me was how dirty the floors were. It was hard to tell that they were dirty ( the type of marble makes it very hard to see the dirt), but after you have a shower and walk around the room for a while, your feet would be black! I ceertainly did not feel like scrubbing floors during my vacation (due to the size of the room), so we had to leave our shoes on pretty much the whole time (no one brought socks!) The pool is huge and great, this was a very nice location

a great place to stay, convenient to the disney theme parks. awesome pools, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. an ... improvement could be the sofa sleepers. very thin mattresses and a little uncomfortable to sleep on.

the only thing that we didn't like was housekeeping only cleaned your room 1 day & after that only if you call them, which ... didn't work for us since we stayed there 6days. other than that, everything was wonderful. we really enjoyed ourselves and plan to visit again real soon.

We stayed here with our four year old twins for 5 days in May 2009. We had a 2 bdrm lockout which was basically like having ... 2 hotel rooms with a large living room and kitchen in the middle. The room was in great shape, nicely decorated and fully stocked with everything we needed. There was even detergent for the washing machine. We used the kitchen quite a lot for breakfasts and lunches. It was nice to have all the dishes and pots/pans we needed. There was even a blender. The balconies were nice because they were all screened in. We were in the 900 building on the 4th floor east side and we could see 2 sets of fireworks at 9 pm every night. I think it was the Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney fireworks. The property backs up to the Animal Kingdom - though we never actually went there. It was only about 10 minutes in the car to the MK. The pools were a huge hit with our four year old twins. We went to the pool by our building several times and to the big pool by the office once. It is a gigantic pool with an island. Overall I was extremely happy with the location and amenities at the hotel. I have seen some resorts that are newer and nicer but this one was so affordable and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this hotel to people with kids.

Excellent excellent hotel, its a great hotel, I booked a two bedroom villa or condo and it was just perfect, 3 main big ... pools, one of the pool even had the tiny wave system. Hotels also offers free movie in their own movie theater, have a game room, fitness room, free wifi in the pool area. Rooms were very comfy. When I booked it was on sale and it was 3 star now when i tried to book to again for another vacation, the price got way higher and star level went up to 4 star. Its a great hotel and I would recommend it to everybody.

we went to disney and it was perfect. the hotel is only a few minutes to world drive. the staff is so nice you almost feel ... like royalty. i would highly recommend this resort .

Sadly we only stayed two nights as this was an add on to an already book accomodation elsewhere. Loved the pool hours to 12 ... midnight, gave us time to relax after a very busy day. We booked a two bedroom suite. It was a bit inconvenient to have to prop the doors open with our luggage or the doors would have kept locking someone out. We made due, but we were ever conscious of who had the keys at all times to avoid being locked out between rooms. This was a minor incomvenience, but thought we should mention it. We would have liked the second bedroom to have contained 2 beds instead of a king bed. We were friends traveling together with teenagers, it was ok to put kids in the same bed but the adults needed more individual space. The pull out sofa is not very comfortable and you have to sleep on it sideways to avoid the metal bar in the middle of your back. These are not complaints meerily observations/suggestions for possible improvements. We have already discussed returning to this resort for our next stay. We loved the gated community and the friendly security people at the gate at all hours of the day and night. Thank you for a great experience.
