The overall experience of the hotel was great. The only downfall was that someone said rooms were available before check-in ... time and when I got there, there wasn't anything available, so we had to drive around for about an hour before a room was ready.

great experience! Room and Beds were VERY comfortable! It was great for us that we could go to the store (around the ... corner) and cook rather then dining out...saved us a ton!! When we check into our hotel in our next city, we both looked at each other and laughed...almost to tears...wanting to return to the Hilton...the new room was small, double bed..we knew we'd been spoiled!

This place is really great. If you can catch it on special, even better. The room can manifest itself like a one bedroom ... apt. Clean, friendly staff..always greeted with a good morning at the breakfast buffet. The bed was comfortable with comfortable bedding. There was a kitchen stocked with all the necessities for cooking and eating. The location is ideal, quiet surroundings and peaceful. Exercise equipment was even cleaned on a daily basis. Functional business center with 2 computers and printers. Just like being at home, only cleaner...lol

It was perfect for traveling as a family. For a reasonable price three generations were able to enjoy each other's company ... while having some private space as well and no one felt on top of anyone else. A 2 bedroom suite provided 2 bedrooms each with attached bathrooms allowing everyone their own privacy and no lines. The hotel also provided a crib so that mom & dad did not have to share their bed. The pool also looked great, although we did not have an opportunity to use it.

In the evening, they provided free, wine, soft drinks, veggies, snacks, chips and dip and a large variety of other goodies. ... For breakfast, it was a full breakfast, eggs, bacon, juice, coffee, toast, muffins, cereal, the works. I will definitely stay here again and soon.

The staff at the hotel was excellent, esp [...] at the desk. The grounds are beautiful and the room cool and very ... comfortable. Kitchen worked well, and even though they had a full house the weekend we were there it was amazingly quiet. Will definitely stay there again. Well done, Hyatt.

Great hotel - feels more like having your own apartment in a condo complex. Our 4 year old loved the pool and hot tub (so ... did we). Bed and pillows were VERY comfortable, as was the pull out sofa bed. Full kitchen was clean and equipt with pots, cutlery, china, glassware, dish soap and even detergent for the dish washer. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great price, great place.

The perfect way to visit DC

The king 1 bedroom suite was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The staff at check-in was extremely friendly and ... helpful. They drove and picked us up from the nearby Metro station. Gaithersburg is the last stop on the Metro line and THE way to travel to all the sights in DC. There were plenty of breakfast (free) choices, from cheese omelets to Starbucks coffee in the cheerful, airy dining room. We did not have time for the pool or the fitness room but they looked good. We were all around impressed and satisfied with the accomodations and would highly recommend the Hyatt Summerfield to any traveller be it for business or pleasure.

The room was great. It was clean and very spacious. Very polite and friendly staff. I wish we were staying more than one ... night so we could enjoy it more. Great location and neighborhood. Free breakfast buffet was an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again.

Could do with quieter doors

I've stayed here quite a few times now and the only reason I wasn't 100% satisfied this time was the doors and other ... soundproofing issues. The doors along our corridor would bang shut and rattle ours - not too good when you're trying to have an early night. We were on the ground floor and the guests above appeared to be taking part in a sponsored walk. So, other than unfortunate noise issues, all was good.
