The stay was great however we had to hassle over the extra $22.00 a day charge per room which was unexpected. I guess I ... didn't see that in fine print of[...]. Treasure Island ended on removing the charge as one of our rooms wasn't cleaned and had no pillow slips and somebody's clothes were still in the room upon our arrival.

Hotel Great - Resort Fee Stinks

Cellenc Feb 2, 2010

Would recommend to a friend!

I was totally shocked and disgusted when I checked in to find that there was a $22 per day "Resort Fee" added to my bill. Of ... course they showed me in the fine print [...]where it was to be applied. But I feel that I was totally shafted by this rip off. I have had good experiences with you before, but after this I will really rethink using you. Why not just charge more for the room. We got nothing for the resort fee other than printing our boarding passed. I am going to warn all of my friends and am unlikely to use you again because of it. I had two room because there were three of us in my party and the "Resort Fee" added another $178 to our bill. [...]

Great Hotel and Excellent Location

Molly Feb 1, 2010

Would recommend to a friend!

I have been to Vegas many times but have never stayed on the strip because I was afraid it would be noisy and always smell ... like smoke from the casinos...I was pleasantly surprised to find that these preconceptions were all wrong. The Treasure Island Hotel was very very nice as was the staff there. Even though we didn't pay for a room with a view of the strip, the view was still great. The room itself was spotless and quite big. I would gladly come back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

TI truth

real deal Jan 31, 2010

Would recommend to a friend!

Room decor is beautiful, ask for a corner room and you get 2 windows. Check in moves like molasses, cable has only a few ... channels. Room price a good deal, but food and drinks in the hotel and the strip are $$$$$!!!! Nice gym, cheap snacks and beer across the street at the fancy Walgreens, and take the safe city bus $3 one way $7 for a 24hr pass, exact change only. Half price tickets place next door at Circus circus, liquor store there. Remember TI has the pirate show every evening, if your room faces the strip you can look down and see it, and HEAR it! Luckily it doesn't go all night. Don't miss Phantom of the Opera across the street at The Venetian, do an oxygen bar and head up the way to Mandalay bay to Minus 5-they dress you in furs and you drink in the bar completely made of ice.

Pretty Good

ExVegasVirgin Jan 29, 2010

Would recommend to a friend!

Overall, it was good. I'm very picky about cleanliness, and I'll admit, I was not happy when I saw a used bar of soap in the ... shower (ew). However, it was very quiet and well cared for. I didn't like not having a coffee maker or mini fridge, and the tv was on the small side. I liked the casino and poker room a lot and definitely plan to return.

Fantastic fun family vacation

best mom ever Jan 29, 2010

Would recommend to a friend!

This trip was special for my daughters 21st birthday, as well as her first trip to Las Vegas. We enjoyed the view of the ... strip we had from the window. We enjoyed the buffet, shopping, gambling, pirate show and drinking/dancing at the Kuahunaville bar. We also rode the convienient tram from TI to The Mirage for the Terry Fator show, and was able to walk to Madam Tussaud's wax museum and to Walgreens and to the shopping mall to the North, as well as walking most of the strip from TI to MGM Grand. We had a great time at TI!

Great location and good value

Patti Jan 26, 2010

Would recommend to a friend!

We celebrated our daughter's 21st birthday and everyone had a great time at the Khahunaville Bar the first evening and then ... trying out other nightlife on the strip during our stay.

Would recommend to a friend!

Everything was fine with the hotel other than the bed was VERY uncomfortable. The wireless internet was not working and they ... sent someone up right away to fix it.We went to a show and did a lot of gambling.Got 1/2 price tickets because we were staying at the hotel.

Quick tip

Great Location

Vegas Traveler Jan 25, 2010

Would recommend to a friend!

I like the location of the Hotel and the convience of pulling into the Hotel without getting on the Strip. It is much quicker ... to get to and from the freeway. The only thing I did not like about the Hotel, was the additional hold on my credit card. I was charged 60 dollars for incidentals. But my credit card showed 140 and was later corrected... Not an issue if you have room on your credit card and you do not look at you account balance...

Nightlife tip

It is better to tip the bouncers (about 20 per person) than wait in line for 3 hours...

Money savers tip, Short Walk

Walgreens across the street which had drinks and donuts, etc. We purchased breakfast and drinks to have available in our room.

--Love to travel, DC Jan 17, 2010

Entertainment tip, Long Walk

Walked all along the strip taking advantage of what the other hotels had to offer. If you can rent a car, the 3 hr long trip to the grand canyon was well worth the trip.

--Tina, Milford, MA Jan 17, 2010

Dining tip

Food can be expensive but if you check around for options, there are many opportunities to have a nice meal at a reasonable price. We had a nice pizza lunch at "NY NY" for 3 adults. Another great meal at ISLA at TI was pricier but worth every penny.

--Uncle Shelf, Midland, MI Jan 15, 2010

--The Fun Guy, Boston, MA Jan 13, 2010

Time savers tip

Do all your homework on Las Vegas. Plenty of shows and clubs to go. Book ahead of time. It's a lot cheaper that way! There is a walgreens across the street form TI in case you forgot to bring something. Lol.

--Mr. Vegas, New York Jan 10, 2010

Nightlife tip, In Hotel

They have a bar call Kahunaville that is AWSOME! Definitly a must see! Great drinks, fair prices, awsome music, Bartenders do amazing tricks, and if you stick around long enough they start giving out free stuff and having fun contests.
