Located at 9801 International Drive immediately across from the Orlando/Orange County Convention Center.
The cuisine of the Capriccio at The Peabody Orlando is authentic Northen Italian, with all the aromatic, sensuous flavors, textures and dashing presentation of the Tuscan region.
A lively, airy, pleasant, 24-hour restaurant, diner, soda fountain, bake/cake shop located on the lobby level of this hotel. It has the nostalgia of the fifties, but the buzz and coolness of the 21st century. While the look is gleaming chrome and black-and-white marble of another era, the food is modern America's best. Also the B-Line Express is open seven days a week from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, provides fast service for those on the go. This is the place to pick a piping hot cappuccino, latte or espresso and an oven-hot buttery croissant at dawn, a freshly cut sandwich or chef's salad for lunch, or a B-Line dessert or treat at any time.
Facilities includes 57,000 square feet and 33 meeting rooms.

Nice, but...
Chicky Jan 19, 2010
My room was nice and clean. The bathroom was nice with a digital tv. However, as a guest you have no choice but to pay a ... $15 resort fee on top of what you pay for your room. It's not negotiable and includes: internet, two free tickets for the iride international drive trolley, the fitness center, and two bottles of water per day. They also charge you $1.25 for the NYTimes which is negotiable. The extra fee was a complete WASTE for me as I was attending a conference that literally lasted all day and didn't use any of that stuff.

Great hotel but..beware of extra charges

As you are welcomed to the hotel you find out that the parking will cost you $20 a day for valet or as they point out you can ... park a quarter mile away and pay "only" $12 a day, kind of annoying considering basically every hotel in orlando has free parking. As you check in you find out there is an additional $17 a day hotel fee, so I havent seen my room yet and Im out $40 already x 5 nights $200 extra. And forget room service: plain hamburger was $18 (no soda), geez they have 23% service fee.

Nice Hotel
Andrew Jun 10, 2009
It was not what i expected but still nice. The peabody really grows on you the more you stay there. It is a good location and ... has endless restaurants on the strip. Unfortunately they are renovating so there is a lot of noise right now. The rooms are also smaller than expected. There is also no parking other than valet parking available so i did not like feeling like i had to tip every time i just wanted to go down the street. Other than that we had a great stay

Unsatisfied
Tyshavette Nov 23, 2008
The Peabody Orlando was not up to par with the 20th century. The room was nice, but I can not say that it was comfortable. ... The hotel does provide a microwave or ipod connector in the room. I feel as though the inservice menu was over priced for simple things, like a glass of orange $5.00. The hotel staff very helpful, from providing information to conducting service in a friendly manner. The hotel actually charges you $20 a night for parking your car. When the fact is hotel guests would not mind parking there own cars for free. At the peabody you don't have a choice. I will not be staying at the Peabody Orlando again.

Professional and Friendly
Carolyn Jul 25, 2008
I enjoyed my stay at the Peabody Hotel in Orlando, Florida tremendously! All staff were extremely professional, and very ... courteous and friendly. The food was delicious and the service excellent in the restaurant. In addition, room service was excellent and timely. The concierge as well as bellmen were very helpful in providing directions and maps to stated destinations throughout the area. The hotel also provided complimentary all day trolley passes for the duration of my visit. The atmosphere and ambiance of the hotel and bedrooms were excellent, and the decor very inviting. In addiiton, the traditional daily Duck March down the red carpet(at 11:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.) was quite interesting to witness. Likewise the pianist who played in the lobby area each evening was very entertaining. The hotel is conveniently located near the Convention Center which facilitated ease in accessibility (walking distance) to the meetings/business that I had at the Convention Center. In summary, it was a delightful stay. I highly recommend this site.

great location for convention center

Outside our room was a very loud dryer--blowing until we inquired as to why it was on. We were told there was a leak from ... the 6th floor. The smell in the hallway was pretty bad. We let the staff know and they said they would get on it. They did turn the dryer off--but the smell was still there. Our room was nice--no smell permeated inside the room. The Peabody is conviently located if you have event to attend at the Convention Center. There is a charge for parking: $6.00/day for remote self parking and $18.00/day for Valet.

Parking
Richard Jun 15, 2008
The hotel parking is under construction and the only parking availible is valet at $16.00 per day or parking 3 blocks away in ... a parking garage. The weekend was a wet and had rain so the 3 block walk or bus ride was not very pleasent. The valet parking was back up with a average of 20 minutes. I had called the hotel that morning to make sure all the arrangement were OK and they made not mention about the parking.

I stay at the The Peabody whenever I visit Orlando, which usually 2 to 3 times a year. I have never had a complaint or a ... dissatisfied stay. On a couple of earlier visits I didn't like the location of my room and the front desk immediately rectified the situiation by relocating me to the desire floor. The rooms are spacious, extremelly clean and well appointed the beds are truly comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect for me. I always stay at the Pea.
