Nice Budget Hotel
Eric Nov 30, 2009
The hotel was right off of the highway which made it very convenient. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice ... and clean. From the outside the hotel does not look particularly appealing but once inside it is perfectly nice although a bit old.

This hotel is nothing like what they make it to be online. It doesn't look anything like the pictures at all. It's location ... is in the middle of truck stop heaven. It's old and dingy and the shower is either boiling hot or frreezing cold. The staff starts banging around in the rooms next to yours and cleaning at about 6:00am

Overall the hotel was pretty nice, but the bathroom was kinda dirty and needed some upgrading. The staff was very nice and ... accommodating to my needs. I arrived late and they granted me a late check out of whenever I wanted! For a one night stay this place is fine and I will probably go back.

Bricktown is nice and has a pretty good nightlife. They have made some nice changes to the downtown area including a river walk that is lined with resteraunts and bars. I was pretty impressed with OK City and the nightlife, plenty of women and nice bars.

NOT Bricktown - Smoke & Mirrors
Brett Oct 30, 2009
We wanted to stay at this hotel because of it's location "in Bricktown". While technically it is in Bricktown, it's actually ... a 10 minute drive from what most people would consider the heart of the area. The rooms were acceptable, but it didn't have a gym. The staff actually said "oh yeah, we have a gym but you'll have to take the shuttle service to go to a free gym downtown". The place looks like a trucking warehouse, totally unattractive, and sits just off the highway between two gas stations. All in all, I highly recommend you avoid this place.

We were attending a concert at the Ford Center and the hotel offered a shuttle to the concert then later to Bricktown. This ... was a great convenience, especially into Bricktown, which is a fun place to dance and hang out, but has very little free parking. The rooms were nice and comfortable. It was a busy weekend, but the staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast included freshly made waffles.

From this hotel, you can't walk to the Ford Center or to Bricktown. The area is industrial and there are major highways. You will need to either drive or ride. The shuttle service may take longer than driving yourself, but it is more convenient for parking and it costs less.

Not the Greatest Hotel
Tulsatraveller Sep 23, 2009
Don't be fooled by pictures, this is an old hotel below average in appearace. Receptionist didn't give us proper directions ... to our room and it was a huge place, so my wife and I lugged our heavy luggage around 15 minutes before we finally found it at the very back of the property. We were exhausted just getting to our room. I called front desk to tell the guy his error but he could care less. Hallways smell bad. Rooms are not big as they claim. Very average size. Descent furnishings, nice armoire, that's about it. Internet crawls during normal hours. I would not stay here again.

My sister wanted to celebrate her bachelorette party in Bricktown, but the hotels there were so expensive! This one was just ... 1 1/2 miles away and offered free shuttle service to and from anywhere in Bricktown so no one had to worry about driving. I'll admit it wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed at, but the rooms were clean and the service was friendly so that more than made up for it. I'd definitely stay there again.

The checkin was very quick, the staff very friendly, telling us everything we needed to know while there. While it is about ... a mile or two from Bricktown, the 24 hour shuttle was very helpful and we did use it. The ad was a little deceiving describing the rooms as larger than normal when actually the room was normal size. The bathroom was small. The room was clean and the staff very helpful whenever I called for additional pillow and towels. The items arrived at room within 5 minutes of calling. Because it is an older hotel, the noise level was kind of high, but after the first night we got used to it. Price was right.

I was visiting OKC for a day trip getaway for relaxation and some me time. Being new to area, I booked this hotel site ... unseen. The pictures represented on the internet did not match the hotel's accomodations. [...] who is one of the hotel's other manager was very unfriendly and does not know the meaning of customer satisfication. I think he should be required to attend customer relations training or be remove from his position because his knowledge and manner in which he deals with the paying public is a liability to the hotel's future customers. As well Orbitz's customer service reps need major training in effective ways to provide customer satisfaction.[...], the Assistant Manager that finally come on duty is a gem to the hotel industry. [...]'s professionalism, knowledge of what the customer wants, and friendly disposition made my visit to the OKC area nice. I will inform many people about this travel experience, in hopes the other will be aware and prepared for themselves about the hotel.

Room was spacious and clean and bathroom was small but clean. We wish there was fitness center (gym) within the same ... building rather than needing to take shuttle to go back and forth or drive our car. Swimming pool especially for small children pool (2ft deep) was not clean and appeared unhealthy for letting my child to stay.

Not a 3 star hotel by a long shot
Disappointed Jul 5, 2009
I was very disappointed when I arrived and could see from the outside of this very old and run down place that this is no 3 ... star hotel. There was a musty mildew odor in the hallways and the 1st room they gave me had very worn, beat up furniture and would rate at maybe 1 1/2 stars. The fellow at the front desk was nice enough and claimed he could not give me a refund but he did give me a room with 2 king size beds that was in much better shape even though it had a tiny bathroom with barely enough clearance to open the door without hitting the toilet, paint peeling off the bathroom door, and some of the veneer peeled off of the table by the bed. I`d give the room 2 stars except for that. The location is pretty poor being right at the intersection of I35 and I40. This place is a 1 star on the outside, but if you`re lucky you may get a 2 star room. If I didn`t have my family with me and could get a room for $35 or less including taxes and fees, I might consider staying here again. But for the $62 I spent, I can get a room at a legitimate 3 or more star hotel if I shop around.
