We had never been to Vegas. Our family was there for a family funeral so the hotel worked perfect for providing a place to ... stay plus having things to do and places to shop at. We all took the elevator ride up 108 floors. Even us chickens. We shopped quickly and tried a few slot machines. We did not have a lot of time since we were there for a funeral so this hotel worked out great. Thanks for a quick and busy time.

The trip was very good. The lady at the counter was very special, we had troubles with the reservation and she worked hard on ... finding it and making it worth it to us for the inconvience. She showed excellent service and loyality to the hotel. I would reconmend her to anyone traveling there. The rooms were excellent, they were clean every day. It was a relaxing envirement. Also Roxy restraunt was a great place to eat and intertainment was very good. Thanks

checked into room, stood in line to check in for over 30 minutes, got to room and found that the bed had a qtip left under ... the covers, requested that bed be changed 3 times before it was changed, was unaware of extra resort fees, slept on top of covers first night due to bedding not being changed, the hotel returned my $22.50 in resort fees due to bedding issue, rooms did not have coffee makers in them, only two towels in bathroom

Ok me and my husband went to Las Vegas for our anniversary and I was very happy with the hotel and it's staff. The only few ... issues that I had was that there was a $7 fee that they asked for per day that was not told to me when I reserved my trip. Also we wasn't able to go swimming. There is a LONG walk to get to the pool and once we got there a sign was up stating that is was not in service. The room service was great. The maids made sure that our beds was made up once we got back in our room. The hotel is not in the heart of the strip but I know that when I booked the hotel and I was ok with it. The show BITE was wonderful. We are planning another trip in June and we are looking forward to seeing it again. (you don't have to like rock and roll either) I listen to R&B

Even though the Hotel is at the end of the Strip, for those who like exercise, the walk to the other end of the strip can be ... fun. It's across the street from convenience and liquor stores (cigarettes are cheaper). The show 'Bite' is a must see! Great dancing and dancers! You gotta like Rock music though (late 70s to early 90s). Price is right for guest at hotel, automatic 2 for 1 deal ;-)

Stratoshpere Hotel Review
First Time Vegas Traveller Feb 2, 2010
I paid in advance for a handicapped, King, smoking room and wasn't told that was only available for an additional 23.00 fee ... per day until day of check-in. That's deceiving! I felt cheated. My room was no more attractive than a Red Roof Inn & there was no safe, DVD player or even a VCR in the room! They even wanted to charge $6.00 for a disposable corkscrew! Finally I paid an additional 7.50 per night resort fee for options that I did not want but was a requirement!

Do not stay at this hotel if you plan to go clubbing on the strip...not safe to walk around this hotel....[*]!
--oreocutee, Seattle, WA Jan 31, 2010
If you plan on walking places and drinking then your a bit far away from the other hotels, clubs, etc.. But there is always taxis if you can't make it (start about 3.30 then add.20 for every 1/12 mile or there are local buses that run for 3.00 one trip or 7.00 for 24 hr.) We saw Bite at the Stratosphere it was okay, glad we had 2 for 1 ticket deal otherwise I wouldn't have paid more for it. (if you are limited on budget and shows, skip this one and see another) Went to Tournament of Kings at Excalibur was a good show as well. Interactive with the audience, cheering for your contender. Great for family. Saw Le Reve at the Wynn hotel. This show was worth the money and the best one we watched. My partner and I enjoyed it greatly. The performers were amazing. We enjoyed the art galleries around Aria. When walking the strip be sure to take your camera for many photo opportunities. There is designer shopping and plenty of things to waste your money on. There are discount coupon ticket books located throughout the sidewalks (mixed with the call girls info.) Other then that, enjoy your trip!
--Vegas trip, Seattle, Washington Jan 31, 2010
At the stratosphere, you are a very short walk away from drug stores and other restaurants. the most convenient location in las vegas, in my opinion.
--janice, denver, colorado Jan 30, 2010
Package includes airport/hotel bus which cost $19/person round trip, whereas it costs only $12 at the airport. A $7 surcharge (58.3%) for the airport shuttle??
--Angelpet, New York Jan 29, 2010
Had the steak and crab legs special at Lucky's inside the hotel. Very good food, friendly service, great value.
--vego, New York, NY Jan 29, 2010
If you will be at the stratosphere, for more than 3 days buy a three day bus pass to get around to other hotels/nightlife...it's only $15.00. They also have one day passes.
--Timber2x4, Minnesota Jan 29, 2010
Check out the 'Funbook' given at check-in! Knowing what's in there helps you to know what the Stratosphere has to offer and helps save a little money too!
