Great hotel!
Young business traveler Sep 18, 2009
The room, or should I say, rooms were great! I checked in for one night by myself and was surprised to find that my room ... could sleep 6! There was a room with two twin beds, a bathroom, a tv, and a walking closet. The other room had two full beds, a tv, bathroom, and a large mirrored closet. The bathroom had great water pressure. The kitchen included a full size fridge, stove and oven, and a dishwasher. It was a pleasant surprise to find a drawer with silverware. I didn't swim in the pool but lounged in the hot tub which was, unfortunately, almost too hot to sit in. I think this place would be great for a family vacationing or visiting family in Scottsdale- and for a great price!

Absolutely amazing Summerfield Suites
Kevin Aug 18, 2009
Our stay at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites in Scottsdale was absolutely amazing! We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and ... given great recommendations on local area restaraunts. The hotel is walking distance to beautiful downtown Scottsdale ful of restaraunts and shops. The pool was very clean and staff in all areas were great! Complimentary breakfast was top notch and social hour evenings with free drinks and snacks?!? Unbelievable! I will definately stay at another Hyatt Summerfield Suites as they are a first class operation!

Nice place to stay
busy woman Jun 11, 2009
This was the last hotel we stayed in on our trip home. It was perfect for our family because we had a two bedroom suite that ... was separated by a living room/kitchen. We all had our own space. The desk clerk that checked us in was very unfriendly--she acted like we had our nerve being there and making her have to work. The other clerk was very friendly with the two groups of people that she checked in. The hotel was about 20 minutes from the freeway. We didn't realize it was so far away but it was a nice facility so didn't mind the drive.

Upscale Accommodations with Homey Feel
Kirsten, married, mother of 4 boys May 8, 2009
I felt very comfortable and appreciated the breakfast and cozy bed and soft sheets! Staff was friendly. I made a note that if ... we go back with our kids, this would be a nice place to stay with them as well. p.s. The last part of my trip was business and I moved to the W Scottsdale with the group. I was more comfortable at the Hyatt. Less party-like. Lots of bikinis at the W's pool if you like that sort of thing. Not to mention twice the price tag. Hyatt was the better choice for me this trip.

Great Location
Richard Nov 2, 2008
The Hyatt in Old Town Scottsdale was a wonderful experience overall. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious. It ... had a small walk-in closet which was very convenient considering the norm. The separate living room with kitchen and small dining area was comfortable and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the overall cleanliness was outstanding. It was only a block from the heart of Old Town Scottsdale and close enough to the freeways for short travel. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced suite in a great location..

VERY relaxing for the business traveler
Charlotte Apr 23, 2008
Summerfield Suites was terrific for a weary business traveler. I checked in in the afternoon and was greeted by friendly, ... helpful employees. My room was huge and comfortable. I enjoyed reading a book over a glass of wine during the complimentary social hour in the community room. Then, I walked across the street to explore Old Towne Scottsdale, have a glass of wine and dinner at a restaurant in that area. The bed was very comfortable when I got to bed that night. I got up early the next morning to work out in the fitness room (open 24/hours/day)then a relaxing complimentary breakfast in the large community room. My checked my luggage into the front the desk and spend 2-3 hours the next day walking around Old Towne, 5th Avenue and the Arts District and then some time reading at the pool. Afterwards, the staff helped get me a cab so that I could get to my next destination. I am DEFINITELY planning on staying at Summerfield the next time I'm in the area. I understand there are not any elevators which would be a problem for some. Though I was on the first floor, I wouldn't have cared about taking the stairs because everything else was so great.
