Restful night- Fantastic Price!
Happy Sightseer Nov 10, 2009
Great find! Just far enough out of San Fran to be a little less city. Clean room, very quiet, easy to find. Nice ... complimentary hot breakfast. I was more then pleased considering that it cost so little per night. If I ever find myself in Redwood City again I'd be happy to spend another night or two.

[...] You rated this hotel as a 3 star, and it is definitely not a 3 star. The telephone was so dirty I hated to touch it. ... Everything was old and dirty. The heater in the room didn't work, and when we asked for extra blankets (we had two beds) they could only bring us one. [...] We were in the area for a medical appointment at Stanford which was already stressful - and staying at this hotel only made our experience worse.

The rooms are well maintained and breakfast is free. Internet is also free. If you want to visit San Francisco like we did, ... you better choose a closer location, as traveling in public transport needs a lot of planning and driving (parking) is almost a bad idea.

I Really Like This Place
Single Traveler Oct 7, 2009
The only objection I would have to the Pacific Inn would be the lack of nearby restaurants. You can get in the car and drive ... to a few that are excellent, but other than a pizzaria and a Taco Bell in the same block food is hard to come by. Other than that I'd stay here again... The staff is great and the rooms are super clean. Mine had a small fridge, 2 burner stove, and a microwave... Can't beat it.

Satisfied Traveler Sep 12, 2009
Stayed here for 2 weeks due to some housing issues. Quiet, clean, and safe. Jacuzzi baths are a huge plus - bubbles included! ... For the price you can't get anything better. The strip club across the street was a nonissue. Didn't see anything suspicious during our stay. Highly recommended for those on a tight budget.

risenheir Sep 5, 2009
This nice hotel provided mints and snacks such as popcorn, chocolate chip cookies and nachos to their guests. The room was ... nice with a small kitchenette and a large jacuzzi bathtub. The desk clerk was one of the nicest we have seen in quite a while. So, while it wasn't terribly fancy, the extra touches together with the good price, made it worth it!

I was participating in the National Senior Olympics at Palo Alto, I selected the Pacific Inn based on it's location, ... convenient drive to Stanford U. and easy return to airport. Nice outdoor breakfast patio and excellent full breakfast selections. I considered the Inn a good value for my purposes. The office staff were very helpful. There are not varied restaurant choices in walking distance, but numerous choices within a short drive on El Camino Real.

It was a low price if I could get that price ever time I traveled it would be great,(and what you get for the price I payed ... couldn't be beat any where that I have gone in the past.)The things I didn't like are, My check in was wrong on the number of days I was staying there, the breakfast wasn't very hot,the start time to get your breakfast on the weekends was to late. The toilet would run unless you would pull the handly up and the seat on the toilet was lose had to keep tighting it with my fingers. They didn't clean under the bed I drop something and had to look for it and as I looked under the bed to see if it want thair I saw dirt and even a sock from someone that had stayed thair before me.I had a kitchenet room but no pot and pans to make any thing in them and when a person flys they cann't carry pots and pans around.Other then that stuff, the room was nice.More indside seating places would be nice at hotel for breakeast.

The staff at this cute little place was very friendly and helpful. I especially liked all the flowers planted everywhere, ... and the covered patio outside where you could eat your breakfast. The breakfasts were excellent and very filling. And the price per room is an excellent value. Very convenient to Hwy 101 for travel to SF. Would stay there again.

Our stay was pleasant enough, we had some very noisy neighbors. The cleaning staff were nice and accommodating. We were ... traveling for pleasure as well as business. We attended a college graduation, during our stay. Lito was particularly helpful. Our trip was prepaid and although, we were delayed and came in a day later then expected, Lito found our reservation and still gave a choice of rooms for the rest of our stay.
