I think the hotel was great! The staff was nice, it appears that the company values diversity in their hiring which is ... optimum, and the location near major highways is great. And the location is such that it feels very suburban, although you are one minute from I225, strip malls, and only 20 minutes from downtown.
Traveler type: Business
Restaurants and stores are very close by, especially grocery and convenience stores, whereas the units are suites with full kitchen access.

Some good, some not so good
whatev Oct 16, 2009
The room was fairly clean, though a little shabby. The garbage can under the kitchenette sink wasn't empty when we checked ... in. I would've given this place a pretty good rating, if it hadn't been for the fact that the staff lost our check-in paperwork, and knocked on our door to ask us for it a 2AM! The rest of the staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous.

Sometimes you get what you pay for!

The hotel is starting to show it's age. Rooms were decent, nice to have the frige and range, but it would be nice to have ... more the 2 of any of the dishes etc. Hallways didn't seem to be taken care of on a consistent basis. But flying in town for a couple of days and not planing on spending much time in the room, this worked. Best thing is the location short distance from airport and downtown, with plenty of dining withing minutes.

Outdated
Lisa Sep 21, 2009
This was not what I expected. The bathroom and kitchen floors are done with outdated "hospital" linolium tiles. The bedding ... had cigarette burns. The bathroom in the first room was dirty, so I got switched to another room. Also, housekeeping is only once a week unless otherwise arranged. I would not have stayed if I had been able to get out of the booking.

This is the best place we ever stayed
Smita Sep 10, 2009
We did not come to know main entrance of the hotel and so we parked on backside and away because no space for parking. A ... little banner should help for pointing the actual entrance. We liked the room because it included complete kitchen with pots and pans. We really liked the coffee they use in the hotel. The reception staff was good and we did not have to wait and was given the room that we had booked. Only other thing we did not like was the bathroom door did not lock at all (room 246). This place being in the center of rocky mountains and colorado springs it was a good location to do these attractions. Mount evans/Academy are near but we could not do it because of Odd flight timings.

If someone is planning to stay here, get your cooking stuff in your car and cook there. You can save a lot of money by eating in room itself rather than outside hotel. The coffee is nice.

A Cheap Place to Stay
Amaliasmom Sep 10, 2009
The room was described as having a queen bed,but the bed size was actually a double. We could very easily hear our neighbors ... next door, and their were always a lot of somewhat seedy looking people hanging out in the parking lot. If all you are looking for is a place to lay your head at night then this fits the bill just fine.

Good Value for the Price
LayLay Sep 8, 2009
Hotel was clean and the Rooms were very neat and close to lots of Restaurants. My only issue was that I was on the 1st floor ... and there was lots of noise on the floor above me in the middle of the night. I would stay there again but I would ask for an Upstairs room. Other than that it was a great value for the price.

God Awful Decision
Road Warrior Sales Dude Sep 5, 2009
Horrid. Dirty towels upon arrival, and since there is no daily housekeeping I was unable to get fresh ones. Queen suite had ... bugs in the kitchenette, a small 12" tv, very hard bed and dirty floors. The walls are paper thin and the noise kept me awake both nights of my stay.

The sole saving grace of this place was only having to return there to sleep because there are 10-15 Applebee's-type restaurants within 2 miles.

Meric Aug 17, 2009
I have stayed at this hotel about 5 different times now, over the last two years and enjoy it completely! Everytime there is ... a big event around Aurora I make sure to book my hotel early at this location. The staff is always so friendly and they have very large rooms you can request if you need more space. The kitchen is great and the beds are comfy. By far my favorite, not to mention how great the price is!!

This is a very basic place. You probably won't want to spend alot of time in it . If you're up and out for most of the day ... as I am when on business, it's fine. Internet access and Cable were good but not stellar. I have been here multiple times and have not had a bad experience yet. Odd: If you book this place via the internet (orbitz.com) they will not give you any receipt of your stay. You are to use your original confirm as your receipt. Might be a problem if you have a diligent expense accountant.
