The worst hotel stay ever!

The stay started out with promise - good location, acceptable room, etc. But, once nightfall came around that's where ... everything unraveled. The people staying in the room directly above me were so noisy that it was impossible to get to sleep. I had to call the front desk twice to complain and each time they told me they would take care of the situation. But, the noise didn't start dying down until well after midnight. I had to get up at 4:30 am to go to work the next day, so I probably did not get more than 3 to 4 hours of sleep that night. I can not remember ever having a more disturbing and uncomfortable hotel experience in my life.

2nd time in the last month we have stayed here. Not clean either time. Garbage wasn't emptied the 2nd stay and both times ... we received wake up calls that we didn't ask for at 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Both stays the filter in the coffee pot was not emptied or cleaned. Also a roach in the bathroom. This hotel used to be very clean, we are not sure if they have new management or cut back on help but it is definitely not the same place it used to be.

The hotel staff was friendly. The room was clean. When the reservation was made I did not know this was an extended stay ... hotel where you made your own beds and take out your trash. I was not use to this. I found the location accessable to many stores and restaurants.

We visit High Point often and I wish we would have known about Crestwood Suites sooner. The hotel is perfect for us. Our room ... had a kitchen and it was really clean. Our bed was firm and comfortable and our room was really quiet. The staff was helpful and gave us some coupons for dinner. The hotel is off Main Street in High Point so the location is perfect. We have found our new perfect hotel for our future visits to High Point.

Not a place for the family

The outside appearance of the hotel (landscaping etc) was very nice. Unfortunately once you went through the front doors the ... niceness was completely lost. The building stank, was unclean and the clientele was not the type you'd like to be around on a family trip. The main office & doors to the hotel are locked at 9pm M-Th and at 8pm F-Su which leads one to believe that this is not the safest environment/area of High Point. The love seat in the room was horrendously stained, the room uninviting and the bathroom floor was littered with hair. There were stains on the walls that hadn't been cleaned/painted over and the door had large gaps at both the bottom and the sides providing little security. The staff was very pleasant, this unfortunately just is not a place for family travel.

The rooms were clean but messy - when I got the room, all drowers and closets doors were open. the refrigirator drowers ... where on the table and the stove was not connected. the rooms were clean, but probably whoever cleaned it left the mess. The room had a bad layout - a thing that made it very uncomfortable to watch TV from bed.

First, I feel a responsibility to report that there were very obvious violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act. ... Although we stayed in a handicap accessible hotel room, the door to the restroom and the door to the bedroom were set up such that they opened into each other. A wheelchair bound resident could easily be trapped in the bathroom. The problem with the set up was obvious as one door had a huge hole in it reminiscent of Jack Nicholson's initial damage to the bathroom door in The Shining. There was no fitted sheet on the king size mattress. The flat sheet would shift as my daughter and I slept leaving us exposed to the dust mite infested mattress. We felt things were crawling on our skin all night. I was inclined to check out immediately but it was 2:00 a.m. and my young daughter was exhausted from our 6 hour drive from Virginia. There was visible black mold (or stains from black mold) in the shower near the shower head. The toilet was stained. The burners on the electric stove were not in the unit but resting on the kitchen counter.

The Crestwood Suites in High Point, NC was a great bargain. My room was extremly clean and comfortable. I loved the large ... bathroon and the big vanity area.The bed was soft and clean with comfortable pillows and plenty of blankets. The kitchenette had everything that I needed to use to cook, even though I chose to eat out. I enjoyed sitting on the loveseat watching TV and kicking back in the recliners reading. Ie had pizza delivered and ejoyed my time away. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We have stayed at this property several times due to it's proximity to where a relative lives, this time I noticed that the ... floor in the Bathroom was not clean and a piece of molding was missing at the base of the tub. Otherwise this was the perfect place for the money spent.

Good staff, friendly and effective. Rooms are average for economy extended stay hotels. Good wireless internet reception. ... Location convenient to restaurants and office supply/printers.

This hotel is more for long term stay. The rooms have stove, fridge, micowave etc.) Price saver hotel whcih is by I choose ... it, I was only going to be in the room for about 7 hours. It is located on main street about 3 miles from downtown High Point.

The Crestwood Suites in High Point was neat and clean. I was warmly greeted at the front desk. I was very impressed with ... the full-size fridge, stove top and kitchen in the suite. The room was well appointed with plenty of room in the room and bath. The location was a bit far from the main area of High Point, but still had fast food options and shopping within easy walking distance.
