Good location - great family restaurant called "Leon's" in walking distance. BEWARE we almost stopped at another motel with the SAME NAME on Michigan Ave. about 7 miles closer to downtown!! That one looked scary! This one is way better!! Nice area! Could have been a tiny bit cleaner, but was OK considering the price. I've stayed in higher rated hotels that have been dirtier,..

Customer service and continental breakfast were the only things positive from this hotel stay. The room was VERY outdated, ... from carpet, furniture, TV and clock radio. Seemed to be the originals from the 70's or 80's. Very dirty, wasn't about to walk on the carpet with no shoes. Seemed to be getting new carpet in hallways at the time, but the rooms need it more. If you want a reasonably priced room and you're not a stickler on cleaniness, this is the place for you.

We had a very good experience with Victory Inn. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Our room was large, clean ... and comfortable. The pool was very clean and refreshing.

We had problems with the locks - our door was broken and our card keys wouldn't work. We asked for extra towels (there were ... only 2 in the room), and were told we would have to come get it. The deluxe hot breakfast has 3-4 things on it - bagels, cereal, toast, and the ability to make waffles. There was no fruit and little variety. The staff didn't seem interested in helping or making me feel welcome. I had to ask if they would wipe off a table in the lobby for the breakfast, and the woman at the counter made it seem that she was doing me a huge service. I don't feel that I got my money's worth.

This hotel is affordable and comfortable.I have stayed at alot of different hotels, but this one's location is great easy ... access to the freeway and dining in the area was fantastic. There is restaurants on both sides of the hotel and accross the street. I did have one problem with my room which was the bath tub drained very slowly. The staff was more than happy to switch my room for me.

The door looked like it had been kicked in at one point, the air conditioner was noisy as was the guest on her cell phone in ... the stairwell outside our room in the wee hours of the night. The wireless internet was non existant in the room, barely there in the lobby. When called to complain they said "we are full up and everyone is using it up". Talk about a lame excuse. It never worked, early morning, afternoon, evening, late evening! We didn't even try the free breakfast. The towels were small and like sand paper. I was well exfoliated after my shower. Walk one block away on the same side to Leon's. We only stayed because it was prepaid. Will not consider it again.
