Even though the rooms needed to be updated, we had a great experience here. There were 4 adults in the room and we all did ... well. Their concierge service was exceptional and we thought the entire staff was helpful and very pleasant. Would stay here again.

This was a great resort for small to preteen children and families. There are activities for teenagers, such as water ... volleyball, water basketball, and mini-golf, but it definitely seems more geared to business travelers and those with young to preteen children. The lazy river is very nice. Pools are heated, some warmer than others. Resort was quiet and restful.

The Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak was perfect for our kids. The pools within the hotel were nice, but having the lazy river in ... our back door was fantastic. The food at the lazy river park was BAD, but the pool service was great.

We did a lot of things in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Our GPS didn't work the first day but I found the city very easy to drive around in. The Phoenix Zoo was nice, the Arizona Science Center was great, and we also like Old Town Scottsdale and the CrackerJax park (bumper boats, mini-golf, go-carts). Shopping easily available and food choices for everyone.

We felt like we were at home. Very nice staff to answer any questions we had. Very relaxing. We loved the "older lady" that ... took us to our table at the Hole in the Wall. Just like Mom. Loved her. Rooms were well taken care of. Hope we can come back again. Chilly pool by our room held me back from 5 stars. Need 1 more restaurant and you wouldn't have to leave.Other places were easy enough to get to.

It would have been more convenient to access the internet Free. I was told internet access was in the lobby...I just assumed ... the lobby computer center provided that. It was .49 cents a minute. Why? I would have brought my laptop if they told me that. Why would I pay for internet from my room when other hotels have free WiFi. Hilton...please reconsider your policy.

Holiday getaway

We loved the type of pools available ranging from the secluded, small pools in the courtyards right outside your room, or the ... socially, active pools full of water volleyball, basketball, waterfalls, waterslide, and poolside service of a great food/drink menu. One day we left the resort grounds to hike the Phoenix mountain preserve, walking distance about a mile away to trailheads where you can take astroll on a paved path alongside strollers, bikes, or other hikers/runners.There are also 4 different trails ranging from easy to difficult along the rocky terraine of the the foothills- we did both the paved and the rocky. Simply gorgeous. We also loved the tennis courts and the golfing when we grew tired of swimming or sitting poolside. My daugher and I did pedicures, where they did our nails beautifully and gave my daugher age 10 a free pair of nice pink flip flops from to wear home since her own sandals would have smeared the polish. Also, a van shuttle service took us downtown to dinner and picked us up- saving us oodles of $$ in a cab ride.Loved it.
