Needs a good scrubbing

The hotel staff that I saw were fine - professional and friendly. The room size was okay for me, probably small if traveling ... with more than two. The location right on PCH was great for me, but it's difficult to get into the hotel driving north. There's no left turn lane in the road right there so I had to drive past and turn around. Parking on the ground level is cramped - only about 5 spots or so. But there is an underground garage with plenty of space. It seemed safe, was monitored with cameras and was okay to maneuver even with my minivan. Might have been difficult if the hotel was fuller. My room had really tall ceilings (15+ feet) so I know the building is old, but the room seemed like it had been wallpapered and generally updated recently. However, the room just wasn't that clean. It seemed like the middle got vacuumed and wiped down quickly, but there was still a lot of dust around the TV and in the corners and the shower was developing a lot of soap scum. Also, my room had blackout curtains, but not a sheer set. So if I wanted privacy I had to sit in the dark. For the price I paid this hotel was fine. Even though it was a little dirty, it wasn't "scary dirty."

Good deal,close to everything

Spent the night, two rooms. Went to Medieval Times, then on to Long Beach the next day to our cruise ship.Only about 25 miles ... either way. Enjoyed all the greenery on outer walls and staircase. Lovely plants that are being nurtured and cared for. Vines everywhere. Nice patio area. We arrived shortly after noon, three hours early, just took a chance. The staff hurried to prepare our rooms that weren't supposed to be ready until three, very nice of them. The only discomfort was our shower, difficult to turn on, hard to adjust the pressure and if an adjoining room turned shower on our water temperature dropped. Other than that , well satisfied for what we paid. I did not expect the Hilton, we paid a very reasonable amount for two rooms.

In the morning we walked to beach, just a few blocks. Then we were dropping family members at Long Beach for a cruise, only about 20 miles the other direction.

We enjoyed the location but the room itself was cramped, not very clean with hard, dried spots of food on the microwave. The ... blankets/bedspread were old and dirty and the towels were very old and we were not given enough for two people. The parking was very inconviennent located in the basement away from the room, without an elevator. I think we would shell out more $ and stay at a nicer place, next time.

We chose not to have the maid clean every day, so can't judge there. The room was nice, though a little to dark, even with ... all the lights on. The window provided plenty of light but opened into the court yard so not much privacy. The room had a small refrigerator and microwave which was very nice too. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

I came to Rendono for my cousins wedding. Me and my sister shared a room at the Ramada. Although the room was smaller than ... expected the service was great. Any time we needed help such as we couldn't figure out the t.v or how to get somewhere the gentleman at the front counter was eager to help and very friendly.

The hotel is an older hotel; however, the rooms are very spacious and were very clean. They had a microwave and refrigerator ... and coffee maker. It was a little noisy in that we had guests with children on the floor above us. The price was very reasonable considering how close to Redondo Pier it is located.

My hotel stay was quit nice. Just a few blocks from the beach made it even better! My friends and I enjoyed a relaxing ... weekend vacation at a great little beach. I will definitely make the 3 hour trip to this beach again soon! I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to enjoy a nice, safe comfortable stay and be right near the beach!

It was a 5 minute walk to the Redondo Beach Pier and Beach area. There were little shops and people fishing and surfing all along the pier and the beach. It was great to get out and walk to the beach in the morning. It was a lively area with much going on and cute shopping and dining too. Beautiful sunsets. Nice for families or couples too.
