A Wonderful Surprise!

This was my first stay at a Townplace Suites, and I was pleasantly surprised by the accomodations, excellent for business ... travelers! Room had a spacious desk with internet connection,full kitchen, sofa, with a little bit more modern furnishings than found in most hotels. From now on I will look for more of these hotels to stay along my travels! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the Grab N Go breakfast is all you really need to start your day, along with their coffee!The staff even calls your room after you check in to ask if your room is ok!

We were there for a weekend baseball tourney. Didn't really spend much time at the hotel but it is conveniently located near ... very good restaurants shopping & entertainment. The room we had was small but very good for two or three people. It was cool and comfortable with a nice little well equipped kitchen. It would have been nice to have a vending machine nearby. The kids wanted snacks and they were looking for one. We would definitely recommend the TownPlace Suites and would stay there again.

I booked for my clients last week and last night. They all enjoyed the stay there. Orbitz had the best rate, I compared ... with other websites. Orbitz was easy and the hotel had no problem with the Orbitz. I saved at least $40.

Hotel rooms are clean and well kept with kitchens. Great safe, convenient location near Blackstone. Night staff was just one ... woman who was very helpful. Only problem was they gave us the handicapped room where the shower was useless. But they upgraded us without a problem. Good deal for $100.

Clean, Remodeled Rooms

The check-in clerk was polite, knowledgeable and the lobby had two refrigerators full of drinks and snacks for sale. The ... entire hotel has been remodeled. Nice carpeting in the hallways lead to a clean room with a nice floor plan. It's a "suite" type room with a table to set up your laptop (hardwired) and a ergonomic chair. The bathroom had granite counters for the one sink. The shower/bath had good water pressure and an upgraded showerhead. The kitchen area had a full size refrigerator which was very clean as well as a microwave and stove (also clean). There is a granite counter top area to prepare your meal. Clean glasses and silverware was in the cupboards. There is a build-in dishwasher with detergent to clean everything. The sofa and table were of good quality and color. The sleeping area had end tables on both sides of the bed and the comforter and sheets were comfortable and clean. The gym had an a bike and two elipticals. No weights. Its spacious and clean with a TV as well. There is also an ice machine. The housekeeping lady was very nice. The room was quite with no road noise. I'd definitely stay here again. The room was nice and the hotel is only a few blocks from the Riverwalk area which has lots of restaurants and shopping.

The hotel was very quiet. The room was spacious for one person. The only thing I thought they could change was the time ... they changed towels and did the cleaning. Example they do a cleaning once a week but did it the day before I left. I was there 5 days. Changed towels 2 times which was ok but not really needed. Was never disturbed by housekeeping. They were amazing.
