Dining

Chang's at Bally's

This authentic Asian eatery is among the most traditional Chinese restaurants in all of Nevada! With an expansive menu that features more than fifty (50!) selections from the Far East. Dishes range from Singapore-style pan-fried noodles to sweet and sour pork, and a host of Hong Kong-style desserts, as well as imported Asian wines, beers, and spirits, round out the menu.

Bally's Sterling Brunch

Start your Sunday with an exquisite brunch served in the rarified setting of Bally's Steakhouse.

Java Coast

A stay in Las Vegas is a pick-me-up all its own. Guests who crave a more traditional wake-up call make the Java Coast a first stop before starting their day. Offering all the selections of a traditional coffee house - drips and decafs, lattes and blends - as well as a full line of juices, soft drinks, and fruit smoothies and assorted baked goods, made fresh daily.

al Dente

Taste the robust flavor of the Old World at this Italian ristorante that blends traditional Sicilian preparation with contemporary, continental flair. Classic dishes such as lasagna, spaghetti Bolognese, and capellini with lobster tails are lightly seasoned to provide a full-bodied flavor and deliver more than a hint of elegance. Perfected Italian desserts and coffees round out the ample menu, and a full range of imported European wines are available to compliment any meal. Buono appetito!

Bally's Steakhouse

A Las Vegas tradition - Bally's Steakhouse is decorated to resemble a New England-style hunt club. Nationally recognized chefs serve up favorites like slow roasted aged prime rib, bone-in sirloin steak, and Chilean sea bass nightly. And while the portions are generous, make sure to leave room for a signature dessert, as our banana cream pie and mile-high sundaes have allowed guests to leave satisfied for years. The Steakhouse is also the home of the Sterling Brunch - Champagne, Sturgeon caviar, and lobster mingle with freshly prepared sushi, omelets, and beef tenderloin, with tempting desserts and time-appropriate drinks- mimosas, anyone.

Sully's

The open-air feel and additional seating area of Sully's Bar makes this watering hole an ideal meeting spot. Lined with built-in video-gaming machines (with five different modes of play) and overhead video screens, Sully's is an entertaining place to recharge, refresh, and regroup.

The Tequila Bar

Bally's Tequila Bar & Lounge is an exciting Mexican sidewalk cantina with over 50 different tequilas. Enjoy a limitless number of signature margaritas plus frozen daiquiris, Mexican beers and a great snacking and sharing food menu from tacos and quesadillas, to blue agave-spiked oysters and chili-dusted rock shrimp. Enjoy the Latin music. Enjoy the fun. Bring your friends and meet new ones in our Mexican Holiday Everyday Atmosphere.

Sidewalk Cafe

American favorites are available around-the-clock at this relaxed diner. Stop in for a tuna melt, some sirloin steak, or a simple slice of pie with a fresh cup of coffee.

Indigo Lounge

Featuring live piano music, top-shelf premium liquors, and a refined setting, the Indigo Lounge caters to Bally's guests who enjoy the good life. Rich carpet and a supple seating area mix beautifully with signature cocktails and soothing music to produce a level of opulence that has made Las Vegas famous. Withdrawn from the casino floor, a trip to the Indigo Lounge is an escape to the glamorous gaming days of old.

Ichiban Sushi

Introduce yourself to a Japanese tradition by sampling the sushi at our authentic Japanese restaurant. The rotating sushi bar presents selections that gently glide by your chop sticks. Traditional table seating provides access to the sushi menu as well as selections of popular Japanese dishes, including Soba and Udon noodles. Beer and sake have been imported from the Far East to highlight the flavor of each dish and round out your cultural dining experience.

Terrace Cafe

Refuel the body after a long day of swimming at this poolside cafe that specializes in short-order snacks.

Meeting facilities

With more than 175,000 square feet of versatile space, 43 self-contained meeting rooms, and two sprawling ballrooms Bally's means business. Newly renovated, every room is equipped with the latest sound, lighting, teleconferencing, and projection systems.
Even with all the meeting space Bally's offers, it may not be enough for oversized gatherings. Fortunately, Bally's is directly connected to Paris Las Vegas, creating a combined meeting space of more than 300,000 square feet — enough space for the largest groups and trade shows.

Not too fancy, but smart

mswright Feb 4, 2010

Bally's does not offer a free shuttle service from the airport, but an appprox $15 taxi fee can get you there. This trip was ... leisure; no workout room or swimming pool was visited (matter of fact, not sure if they have one)! Check-in was a breeze with friendly staff. The location is easy enough; being situated mid-strip was nice (approx 10 min walk to the Miracle Mile Mall). The room-a basic (classic)-was plenty big, but just what it clamins to be, "basic." The beds were comfortable, but not overly impressive. (Don't expect elegant luxury here.) The bathroom is typical. The shower was on the unimpressive side as the shower head could use an update. These rooms have nothing fancy to make you want to waste your time inside, but they are nice for a good sleep, and are in a good location. My biggest complaints: the airconditioning unit was fairly noisy and the walls were a bit on the "thin" side.

Bally's needs a face lift

New England Traveller Feb 1, 2010

The staff were pleasant enough. My room seemed clean, but the furnishings were cosmetically damaged and overall the room ... just seemed shabby. And I had an upgrade to a Deluxe room. I was very disappointed that I had to pay extra for internet, and wireless was not available. And I still had to pay an extra $5.95 to use the internet kiosk in the lobby in order to print my boarding pass for my return flight. The use of the gym was an extra $22/day, which I wouldn't mind, but the gym was hardly a gym at all. It was dingy, small, and had very little to offer in terms of equipment. Overall, if you need a reasonably priced bed for the night it was fine.

Renovated section is nice!

Yappie Feb 1, 2010

Would recommend to a friend!

I was only staying for one night so they thankfully gave me a free upgrade to their newly renovated tower. For the price I ... was paying I was very happy with these new accommodations. The room was nice and clean and was perfectly appropriate for a hotel room in 2010 (I hate when I get into a hotel room and it hasn't been updated since the early 90s). It was in between a really nice Comfort Inn and a mid-range room at a Hilton or Marriott. I thought the location on the strip was perfect - just a short walk to the Venetian/Palazzo/Wynn/Encore area and another short walk to the Bellagio. I ate breakfast in their casual dining restaurant and it was great. I liked all of the nods to old school Vegas (e.g., pictures of the Rat Pack). The only thing I did not like was that I was woken up at 3:00 a.m. by a bunch of drunk brutes trying to get into their room next door (they tried my door). It turned out our rooms were connected, they could have been reserved together as a massive suite. Those [*] wouldn't shut up even though I asked and I had to sleep with ear plugs after that. I'd definitely reserve a room in the renovated tower again in the future, but I'd ask for a room that wasn't connected to any others.

Great location for the strip

Coyoteval Jan 26, 2010

Would recommend to a friend!

The front desk was extremely helpful when I checked in and upgraded me into a newly renovated room in South Tower.Bally's is ... centrally located at Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd accessible by walking, tram, moving sidewalks to many venues. We were moments away from Caesars, Bellagio, Paris, Mirage.I would stay there again for the price and convenience. All servers and staff were pleasant during the three days. However, the staff was unhelpful over the phone when I attempted to add my friend's name to the checkin when I knew would be detained. Because I had reserved through [...], Ballys has a rule that they can't change the reservation ?! so I contacted [...] and the rep was extremely helpful but met the same roadblock as I did. He even faxed the name to the hotel. They evidently didn't get it or opted to not be helpful. Food and drink and sundries were available any time.

What ever you do make sure you do not get a room on the road side of the hotel if you want to sleep !!! Vegas never sleeps ... and that includes; Fire Trucks and police cars.

Good time in Las Vegas

SuperRD Jan 21, 2010

Would recommend to a friend!

Our experience was very good overall. Our major complaint was the smokiness of the hotel and casino. My husband ordered a ... cake for my birthday with my name on it and balloons and it came up with a hole in the cake, no name on the cake and no balloons. The management seemed inexperienced with compensating us. They definitely ruined my birthday surprise. Bally's is centrally located which was a plus - and the casino had a lot of penny slots. The monorail attached was also great. The room was spacious and updated in the North tower. Overall - a wonderful time!

Dining tip, In Hotel

We stayed on our local time which was three hours different. Getting up that early the casinos were empty and we felt we had the run of the place! The dining for breakfast was wonderul and not crowded at all.

Money savers tip, Long Walk

Buy a day pass for the Deuce and visit all the older hotels/casinos on the way to Fremont Street.

--Ohio Traveler, Findlay, OH Jan 16, 2010

Entertainment tip, Short Walk

If you are there for new years eve, they shut down Las Vegas Blvd so folks can walk freely. Bring a collapsible cooler, buy a case of beer and camp out in front of Ballys a few hours before midnight. Buying a case of beer is cheaper than what they sell outside, and camping out in front of Ballys gives you a great view of the Bellagio fountains, all the fire works at midnight and excellent people watching up and down the strip.

--NCarter, Baltimore, MD Jan 6, 2010

The Improv at Harrah's (about 4 casinos down) has great comedy for $30-$40.

Even if you choose not to eat at Bally's, Ellis Island is just a short walk and has inexpensive microbrew and some of the best bbq ribs I have had anywhere. I am a foodie so that says a lot coming from me.

The hotel provides coupons when you check in that can save you lots of money. One of the best is 2 for 1 on Jubilee show. It was great.

ABC mart is in the Miracle Mile Shop where you can get mostly anything you need that is not crazily overpriced. EX: A 1-liter bottle of water there is $1.00.
