Great luxury for a fantastic value
CVuPlay Dec 11, 2009
This hotel is a great value for Whistler with nice views from any angle. It is only 10 min from the mountain base and the ... hotel has a free shuttle service that runs every hour. The rooms are brand new with a big 42" Samsung LCD on a swivel mount, Yamaha soundbar, Logitech Harmony H659 universal remote and free Internet in the rooms. They also have an iHome clock radio that accepts your Apple iPod/iPhone. The bathroom is very luxurious with heated stone tile floors. They also have a mini-bar with a microwave and mini-fridge. If you want cheap & good breakfast, I suggest taking the short walk up the street to the corner of Lake Placid and Hwy 99 to Southside Diner. Much better value than the hotel breakfast.

Beautiful, rooms and view are amazing!!
fp Aug 26, 2009
When we arrived, we were offered an early check-in at no charge which was fantastic. Upon entering the room, it was "exactly" ... like the pictures shown on the site, modern, amazing, had everything, from a flat screen to a fireplace to a super stone/tile luxurious bathroom. There was a microwave, toaster, coffee stuff, hair dryer, iron, dvd player, sateliite tv, and beleive it or not, "heated floors" in the bathroom. We had a lake view room with vaulted sealings. The Bed was another top highlight. Very modern looking, very comfortable. I have been at the fairmont and several other luxurious hotels, this one is now my number 1 choice! It was quiet and peacefull as it's away from all the hustle and noise in the village. Complimentary shuttle service and complementary mountain bikes too!! Nita Lake Lodge is awesome!

Don't pay to rent mountain bikes from the village. If you are staying at Nita, they will let you borrow them at no charge.

"Beautiful property"
California Girl Aug 17, 2009
My husband and I stayed at the Nita Lake Lodge for 4 nights. This was an anniversary trip. The Nita Lake Lodge is about 4 ... miles from Whistler Village. We liked being away from the hustle and bustle of the village. We loved how the hotel was in a peaceful, serene area on a lake. The rooms are huge. We had a fantastic view of the lake from our room - breathtaking. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was large with a separate shower and huge tub! The room was immaculate and spacious! Nita Lake Lodge is off the beaten path, so those who want to be right in the heart of Whistler Village would be disappointed. Also, because it is not right in the heart of the village it can feel a little desserted because a lot of people like to stay in the village. However, for those who don't mind a 5 minute drive or a 15-20 minute walk to the village, the Nita Lake Lodge is IDEAL!

We loved going to the village everyday, so we didn't eat at our hotel. We especially liked the Crepe Montagne - yummy sweet and savory crepes.

The Best Accomodations in Whistler!
Nate Mar 5, 2009
The staff was incredibly helpful and professional, yet personal. This is a very well made and well furnished hotel - it was ... so quiet and relaxing. It is a five minute walk to the ski lifts and they have a complimentary shuttle to Whistler - 10 minute drive. I will come back here in a heart-beat. I travel the world and stay at great hotels - this is one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Amazing hotel
Cindy Aug 28, 2008
Nita Lake Lodge is the most amazing property at which I have ever has the pleasure to stay. The rooms are beautiful and ... cozy. We had a fireplace and balcony over looking the mountaints. The Lodge is a short distance from Whister Village, which is the only down side, but their was a complimentary hotel car that drove us back and forth whenever we needed it. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. I will definitely be back!

Whistler Village is a short drive where you can do all your shopping and dining. Also, this is where most of the excursions depart from. You can book biking, ATV-ing, zip-line, white-water rafting etc.

My review of Nita Lake Lodge
Arthur Aug 10, 2008
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel was stylish and modern without pretentiousness. There were 3 possible ... restaurants/lounges to eat in at the hotel, two of which we sampled. Both served creative, mostly delicious foods. The room itself met our needs. A stylish, compact mini-kitchen was enclosed within a large floor to ceiling cabinet. We were able to review the photos we had taken during our stay on the large screen TV. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very large. They could have used more lighting in the shower area, but they had heated floors(which we did not need to use) in the bathroom - another touch of luxury. Even though the room was quite small, it still gave you the feeling of luxury and the vaulted ceiling also made the room feel larger. Unfortunately the maid forgot to make up the room later in the day after the do not disturb sign was removed late in the morning. This was rectified once we notified room service.

The purpose of the trip was to attend an art workshop that was held in a nearby villa. The event was a success.

Nita Lake Lodge is a hidden gem in the Whistler area
Jennifer Jul 29, 2008
Located in a secluded area next to Nita Lake along highway 99N, just outside the main hustle and bustle of the Whistler ... Resort area, Nita Lake Lodge is a hidden gem. Everything you could possibly need or want, from the moment you step in the front door, is at your disposal. From valet parking (if you choose) to room service and bellhop. The concierge desk was second to none in it's friendliness and desire to assist me in anything and everything I needed; from reserving activities, providing directions, suggesting local restaurants and shops, providing change for the laundry room, to helping me check in online for my return flights. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. I stayed in a studio suite, which had a kitchenette complete with bone china bowls, plates, glassware, microwave, small refrigerator and a full compliment of cooking and eating utensils. There was even a sink with dish detergent, towels and wash cloth. Also provided were full sized ironing board with iron, and hair dryer. The bathroom was almost as big as the room itself, beautifully appointed in rich woods and stone (the floor of which - and the room itself - uses the geothermal springs beneath the lodge to heat or cool) There was a full sized garden tub, which was great for a long sudsy soak after a hike and a glass shower with granite bench. The room itself had a nice mountain view and the rooftop herb gardens used by the restaurant. It contained a sofa, leather armchair, ample sized armoire with wooden hangers, a stone gas lit fireplace, flat screen HDTV with stereo, an IPOD compatible digital alarm clock, and high speed internet connection. Best of all a VERY comfortable king sized bed with four fluffy pillows and a down comforter. The restaurants attached are also very good. My preference was the Lakeside Lounge because it was, quite literally, lakeside. It was a massive stone patio/porch which sits along a paved walking trail that connects all of the neighborhoods in the whistler area (you can make it to Whistler Village in a leisurely 45 minute walk through the woods and around the various lakes, via this path). One evening a very well behaved black bear, waddled down said path, past the patio, much to everyone's thrill and went on about it's business. I have to honestly say between the room, the location (you are within a short distance/drive of Squamish, Whistler Village, many provincial parks and scenic overlooks; and with a littler longer drive Pemberton and Lillooet, the later via the Cascades - A breathtaking drive) and the stellar service, I highly recommend a stay at Nita Lake Lodge! I am hoping to make this an annual pilgrimage. (Because the spa will be opening there soon as well!)
