Americas Best Value Inn Tahoe City/Lake Tahoe is adjacent to Lake Tahoe, the Tahoe City Golf Course, and the Historic Tahoe Inn. It is the only air conditioned hotel in Tahoe City and has been AAA and Mobil Guide approved for over 30 years. Our hotel is directly across from the Commons Beach which has a children*s playground, amphitheater, and picnic/barbecue facilities. The FEMA approved hotel is activity-centered and offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and year round Lakeview hot tub. We are within walking distance to the marina, boating, fishing, golfing, and rafting. Our hotel is only 15 minutes from Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and the Homewood Ski Area. This hotel is right in the middle of the Tahoe City, and it's across the street (about 100 yards) from Lake Tahoe itself. ... The staff were nice, and we did not spend any time in the room because we were hanging out in Tahoe City. Free parking too.

The Americas Best Value Inn is located in the middle of Tahoe City across from a Lake Tahoe waterfront park. Walk to lots of ... small shops and several restaurants which are our favorites. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Suggested improvements would be to add some grounded electrical receptacles for plugging in laptops and to repair the grout on the bathroom floor.
