Mostly good, few complaints

The trip was mostly pleasure. Attended a couple of Braves baseball games, MLK Center, the Aquarium. Hotel was in nice ... location and was generally very good. Room was a little small but it met our needs. Problems were generally minor: 1. Front desk sometimes seemed overwhemled with only one person. 2. Our room was cleaned on Sunday but they forgot to leave wash cloths. This was promptly corrected when we called the front desk. 3. We asked for a wakeup call for 6:00 Sunday morning. Never got the call. I think this was a result of overly busy front desk. When I asked for a wakeup for Monday morning and told the lady we didn't get one Sunday but absolutedly needed it Monday morning (had an early flight), her response was a little short and abrupt.

We have stayed a Double Tree previously and liked everything about it. This time we were comfirmed for 2 queen beds ... nonsmoking. We got a king nonsmoking. Then when we went to take a shower in the AM it did not work. We decided to stay an extra night but got the room at more expensive rate even though the clerk said it was cheaper. My husband made the arrangements and I didn't realize it until we got home.

The hotel was very clean, attractive and well maintained. I liked the fitness room, there was a lot of equipment so you ... didn't have to wait and had a nice choice of the type of unit that appropriate for you. The room was very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable, with lots of pillows. There was plenty of room for hanging clothes and dresser space, a separate desk area with chair and two additional, comfortable lounge-type chairs. The location was very good...off the freeway just enough so it was easy to get to, but far enough away that we did not hear the noise.

My family and I stayed at the Double Tree and was very pleased with the friendly staff and great locaiton. We are still ... talking about how we enjoyed our trip to Atlanta. We especially enjoyed the bed and pillows. Heavenly is the perfect word for the bed and pillow. The location of the hotel was perfect for all our outings. We are fortunate enough to stumble upon restaurants and shops that we also enjoyed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It is family oriented hotel as well as a romatic getaway. The Atlanta Diner which is next door to the hotel is another recommended spot to eat.

Doubletree Hotel Atlanta North Druid Hills/Emory Area, Atlanta, met our every need. The rooms were large yet cozy, clean and ... bright. The beds were just right and the separation of the vanity area and bathroom was a plus. The breakfast was great with a large buffet to choose from and custom-made omelets prepared quickly and with a smile. It was very convenient to the Emory area and not far from shopping.

The only problem was that the hotel backs up to a major highway and the noise in the morning on the back of the hotel was ... very loud very early in the morning. Otherwise fine.

The Doubletree was great. I loved the comfortable bed and the great amenities at the hotel. The site was centraly located ... to most things. I will definitely stay at this location again. The staff was very accommadating by extending my checkout time by an additional hour.
