Great Price

The service was great, the rooms were big enough. The only complaint was such a small bathroom and seemed old. The hallways ... and the elevator needed air condition and t would have been nice to have had ice on more than just the first floor. These are kinda petty things that would not have stopped me from coming. We certainly felt like it was worth the money. Great location for Sea World.

There was only 1 ac unit for the suite, which was in the living room, so the bedroom was hot all night long. On the plus ... side, I've stayed here twice now. Both times they let me check in as early as 10am, didn't have to haul everything to SeaWorld, then check in late at night. That is a huge plus to me. Clean rooms, quite, very convenient to the Busch parks. Disney isn't that far away.

A Pure Disappointment

We were guarenteed a non-smoking room with 2 double beds and were given a smoking room with 1 king bed. When we asked the ... front desk, they said that we would have to deal with it. The staff was rude and not helpful. The rooms were mediocre and not exceptionally clean. After arriving at the hotel, were finally in our room approximately 50 minutes after we arrived which is way too long to wait to get into a hotel room. Very disappointed in this hotel and it's staff. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great Price

Great Location!

The hotel was very easy to get to: it was literally right off the beeline expressway. It was in a great location off of ... International Drive, close to many restaurants and attractions. Heck, you could walk to Seaworld it was so close. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and the bedroom was easily closed off from the living area to add privacy. Everything worked in the room, restroom, and little kitchenette. The staff was very friendly and check-in and check-out was quick. We also ordered from the roomservice menu and the food was absolutely wonderful and arrived within the time quoted. The only suggestion I have for them is to update the furnature, tvs, and such because the years of wear were apparent. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to enjoy the best Orlando has to offer.

Nice quiet room with plenty of space. Room was freezing when we arrived late on a cool night. Very dated and worn furnishings ... and carpet. Comfortable beds. Very nice place to stay if they would re-model

The only complaint that I have was the out dated carpet and furniture in the room. The room was clean and all the hotel ... employees were friendly and helpful. It was a good place to stay with children because of the kitchen area in each room as well as the free breakfast.

The Hawthorne Suites, Orlando is a great hotel for families--or anyone! The free hot breakfast buffet makes it a great deal, ... too. Our plans were to visit Sea World, so the location was perfect! We called the front desk for maintenance one time and they arrived within a few minutes and took care of the problem quickly. The staff was all very friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to stay in Orlando!!!

OK for business travel

The Hawthorne Suites Orlando Sea World was conveniently located for my business purpose. And once I found the grocery store, ... all was well. The layout of the 1 bedroom suite works well for business or family with a large living area, bedroom and bathroom vanity area, along with a great closet. The hotel could use an update. The carpet and furnishing are a bit worn and out-of-date. My particular room had a few challenges. The sound for both TVs, living area and bedroom area, was muffled and seemed to have interference from somewhere. The air conditioning units worked well but were extremely loud.
