i went on my first night after my wedding, there was no frig, i needed to put cold drinks. and there was no ice machine close ... by. The restroom had crickets in the toilet and shower, my girl was screaming because a cricket jumped on her and she hates bugs. our first night were killing crickets, instead of enjoying our stay. i told the front office girl all she did was not charge me for the hotel fee of $27. i wanted at least 50% off. the room was like $200 with crickets. oh and spider webs 2.

Relaxed and enjoyed the sun. This is a great place for couples, families and anybody looking for a great place to soak in the ... sun and relax. We came to la Quinta after initially arriving at another property in Palm Springs. Our original location was in downtown Palm Springs and was said to be 4+ stars. Obviously that wasn't the case. We came to La Quinta because we had only one night to relax. My fiance is a teacher and has been busy writing lesson plans for her 11th 12th graders while finishing her masters. Recently we haven't had much time to get away based on her schedule. La Quinta was perfect and in addition to the great room steps from the pool the property was very well maintained and the staff was great! We will be going back again for sure and couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We ate on the property twice and the food was good. If you want to venture out try Stuft Pizza in La Quinta. Its 3 minutes from the resort, hads a great menu and the food was surprisingly good.

We checked in to La Quinta at about 8pm on Saturday night. The staff at check in was very nice and helpful. We found our ... way to our room and settled in nicely. The room was gorgeous! Nice comfy bed (we wanted to take it home with us), huge bath room with separate shower, toilet and bath areas. The room had a fully stocked bar--$7.50 for a can of Miller Lite, was a little steep, but we did get an awesome deal on the place! We ate at the Adobe Grill, which had delicious Mexican cuisine! There are pools everywhere, so chances are you can get a private one if you keep looking! The one complaint I would have about this place is that the staff came at 8:30am to clean the room--check out was at 12. When they came to the door, they didn't knock, they just walked in. This happened twice, and were a little unsettling. After being walked in on twice, we made our own 'Do no disturb' sign, because there was not one in our room. I will definitely be coming back to this place--I had a hard time leaving!

I take 2 vacations to the Palm Springs area each summer when the rates are the lowest. La Quinta Resort is always my ... destination. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable, especially the beds. Our hotel package included a daily 50 dollar credit to be used in the restaurants and room service....great deal. The resort is also close to many nearby restaurants.

The on site restaurants have good food but pricey. There are many good local restaurants within 5 miles of the resort.

We visit this hotel every summer & it just gets better! We packed a cooler & spent the day at one of the many pools. For ... most of the day, we were the only people there...very relaxing!! We ate at the Adobe Grill, great Mexican food!! One great surprise about our room, the clock/radio played & charged my iPhone! Can't wait to go back!

We went for a break from hustle and bustle of work. While it was hot outside, the pool was a welcome respite. Because there ... are several to choose from, it is easy to find one that is action-packed, or a little slower. We made use of the fitness center daily - all of the equipment was in great condition. There was a good variety of cardio machines and the weights available were great. An attendant was seen regularly wiping machines down and keeping it tidy. The spa is a must - this is a regular part of my trip when I stay at La Quinta. It is truly relaxing and a good way to get away from it all. We ate on site only once - largely because it was a little pricey for the quality of the food, which I would describe as just okay. Keep in mind that the best restaurants in town are probably the ones at LaQuinta...just wish they were a little more affordable. My only criticism is that there needs to be some work done on the pools..they are really dirty. It didn't appear that anyone comes in to clean them on a regular basis. The tiles needed to be brushed, and I would suspect that the water isn't regularly treated with chlorine. A couple of the pools looked cloudy..which again seems to point to the fact that they are not cared for regularly. Otherwise, La Quinta is a family favorite and I will go again and again.

Stay @ La Quinta Resort & Club
Frankmaster Jul 26, 2009
This was a great hotel for me. There were some dirty spots around my room, but overall, it was okay. My only issue was the ... front desk staff on 7/25/09 at 8:00 am could not find information to tell me which ballroom we were in. My room key didn't work a second time with that same person, so walking to room #982 was a long walk in a 110 degree weather for a second time.

From the moment I entered the grounds until the moment I left the grounds, I was awed by this unique place. I loved the ... sprawling, community feel to the place and yet each section felt cozy and intimate in a private way. The rooms were spectacular for the price. The pools were heavenly both temperature wise and lack of chlorine wise (salt managed pools). The staff was top notch. My friend and I got lost the first morning and asked a person working on the lawn for directions. They sat down their tools and walked us all the way to our destination. The gentleman who drove us around in our golf cart was friendly and professional in a way that gave me a grin each morning on the way to coffee and muffins. Every aspect of this experience was just fabulous.

Nothing beats San Diego Jul 5, 2009
Rooms were spacious and clean except the bathrooms were quite small. Parking situation was horrible. The hotel is surrounded ... by a condo complex and parked on the street outside our rooms because there were no close spaces and received a call at midnight telling me to move our car..had to park over a block and 1/2 away from room...not what one would expect from a top flight resort...and I was on crutches to add to the misery. The grounds were nice but one can be a long ways away from many of the amenities.

The staff was very friendly and our room was just steps away from the pool. The casita we stayed in had a fireplace (so I'm ... sure it is lovely during the winter) and a huge bed. Bring your own drinks/snacks and empty the small fridge of hotel provided items during your stay. There are convenient shelves to store hotel goodies and then just return them to fridge when you leave. Also, walk to cafe to buy breakfast or lunch vs. room service. While cafe will still seem pricey compared to a grocery store, it's convenient, and you won't get ding'd by the enormous service charges/fees (sales tax, plus 20% + $5.00 delivery fee).
