Covering 17 acres of prime Boardwalk real estate, with 4.2 million square feet of enclosed space, Trump Taj Mahal is one of the largest casinos in the world. If laid end to end, the building support pilings would stretch the 62 miles from Atlantic City to Philadelphia!
The richness of this resort is evident at every turn, from the seven 2-ton elephants carved in stone that greet arriving guests, to the Carrera marble that adorns the hotel's lobby, guest rooms, casino, hallways and public areas, to the 70 minarets that adorn the roof top, and the $14 million worth of German crystal chandeliers.
With panoramic ocean views and spectacular sunsets, the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort is an Atlantic City oasis. With 1,250 deluxe guest rooms and suites in the Taj Tower as well as the top level Royal and Penthouse Suites, each complete with individual spas and butler service and access to the private bi-level Chairman's Club, Trump Taj Mahal epitomizes the true meaning of luxury.
Additionally, The Chairman Tower at Trump Taj Mahal opened in Fall of 2008 and features 782 guest rooms, including 74 suites eight of which are at the Penthouse level and offer full-scale luxury. These suites boast the same striking style, plush amenities and impeccable service for which Taj Tower's legendary Penthouse Suites are so revered.
All Trump Taj Mahal guest rooms offer pillow-top mattresses and luxury bedding with state-of-the art flat screen televisions, high speed internet access, coffee stations, safes, irons and ironing boards, hair dryers, makeup mirrors, on-demand movies, games and digital music and other amenities to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
The Chairman Tower is connected to the original tower via the Spice Road level. Guests can check in at the existing front desk and proceed to the second level to access The Chairman Tower at Trump Taj Mahal.
Guests will enjoy a luxurious residential experience during their stay at The Chairman Tower a rare and pleasing feeling for any traveler. Larger rooms with higher ceilings and modern bathrooms include double sinks recessed into Brazilian granite counter tops, oversized walk-in showers with water closets in a separate room, and other amenities. Each room is equipped with a 50" high-definition plasma TV, an iPod docking station, wireless Internet access and more.
The Chairman Tower suites have a living room and dining area, with a separate bedroom and private bath. They range from 950 to 1,140 square feet and feature floor to ceiling windows for spectacular views of the ocean. Each suite also offers a powder room just off the living room area, as well as a wet bar. Eight suites top off The Chairman Tower.
The overall design of the rooms and suites can be described as streamlined and contemporary, with a rich Asian flair and warm color palette.
A newly-renovated Fitness Center with a near Olympic-size indoor pool will cater to your well being and recreation. The spa also offers Jacuzzis, steam baths, tanning booths and sundecks for relaxing.
When you play at the Taj Mahal, you will feel the heat of the action in the over 161,000 square feet of gaming space. When you step onto our casino floor, you're greeted with over 4,000 slot machines to choose from, so you are sure to find your favorite. If you want to be part of the table game action, pull up a seat at one of our 210 table games. Chairman Tower the Best!
Holly Holiday Dec 31, 2009
For a Holiday Getaway for some much needed R&R, the Taj was great! The Chairman Tower is very nice and the rooms are ... wonderful...big showers, double sinks and seperate toilet area. The king bed was delicious to come back to at the end of the day. With a refrig and coffee pot, what more could you ask for. The Casino is nicely laid out and with good odds, with smoking and non smoking areas. My one complaint here is not enough staff to keep the ashtrays empty and trash picked up....I was constanly searching for ashtrays and emptying ones I found. The Taj is located next to the Showboat but a good distance from the rest of the boadwalk hotels. My only disapointment was with the resturants and shopping....just not enough. Most eaterys and stores close around 10pm....I expect high prices but not to be able to get a cup of coffee or a sandwich at 11pm...Isn't this suppose to be a 24 hour casino?

First time in AC, Taj Mahal was nice
Teri Sep 21, 2009
I really can't complain too much about the hotel or the room. It was nice. I had expected a little more out of Trump, ... especially with the details like we only had one small garbage can in the room and our tv didn't really work, and I expected some fancy shampoo and conditioner and I am pretty sure it was some cheap drug store brand that he slapped his name on. We didn't go into the rooms of any of the other hotels, but from what we could see going into the casinos and bars, all the hotels are comparable. I don't think I would stay here again because of the price. Also be aware, if you self park, parking is free in their parking lot but you have to check into the room first or they will charge you $5.

1-Go to the outlets to do your shopping. The area around this casino leaves much to be desired for. So take the short trip and go to the outlets. 2-There is some construction on the roads going to AC. So be prepared, especially if you leave on the weekends or during rush hour.

--Mike, Staten Island, NY Aug 25, 2009
If you take the "taxi" down the boardwalk, then ask the man pushing the basket, "How much to get back to the Taj?" First he said ten, and I said no. He said how about eight? I said no, and he said for the two of you I'll do it for five. We decided for the walk, but if you do want to enjoy that experience, NEVER pay the first price they tell you!!!!
