Lake Buena Vista Florida

It was our fourth time at Double Tree (Lake Buena Vista) Charges for parking daily (something new to all there) - Had a few ... 'bumps' this time nothing major - had to ask for items not in room (Hair dryer, face clothes, extra coffee, no safe in room, limited refreshment of soaps and shampoo) But there is a very nice pool, hot tub and simple fitness center. You can't beat the location if you are outside the park - would stay at Double Tree again

They charge for everything! When they say free wi-fi they mean in the lobby only! If you want it in your room it's ten bucks ... a day! Plus, the charge you eight dollars a day for parking but if you get back to the hotel late, you will surely circle the parking lot and then have to walk inside to ask someone to open the gate so that you can find a spot in the valet parking side. The hotel's website also says free cookies upon check in... I have yet to see those. Overall, this hotel is just not worth the money- spend a few extra bucks to stay in Disney, it'll be worth it.

There's a Walmart about 4 miles from the hotel. I was able to purchase snacks and drinks and even easy breakfast items to keep in the refrigerator.

Doubletree at DTD...a great hotel

My son and I loved staying at this hotel. We particularly liked that each room is actually a suite with a mini fridge, ... microwave and coffee maker. Beds were very comfortable. Pool area is great and my son used the gym several times. Shampoo, conditioner and soap were Neutrogena products. Walk to Downtown Disney is about 12 minutes. Shuttles to parks ran about every half hour. We got a great deal at $80 a night. Rooms were very clean. The hotel is more family oriented. It's a great place to stay and gave us a lot more room than if we stayed in a Disney resort.

The Hotel was okay...

The hotel was in a good location, I took advantage of the shuttle service which saved us money on parking at the different ... Disney parks. I did get a chance to check my email with the free internet service...I appreciated that! The beds were extremely comfortable as we slept well every night.

The hotel was great. Bed was comfortable and very clean room. The coffee maker on the other hand was horrible. I wanted to ... make myself a nice cup of coffee but the darn thing just steamed and made a whole bunch of noise, it was quite funny. Plus all they offer is sevearl varities of decaf. Whats the point of drinking coffee with out caffine. I ended up going to the gas station behind the hotel and getting coffee. Staff was very friendly and the gift shop came in handy as well. Overal a great stay.

We met our daughter and her family from Seattle and spent time at Disney. It was a very enjoyable stay and very close to ... restaurants. The bus provided to all the parts was a great plus. We would certainly choose this hotel again.

Overall we were satisfied with our stay at this hotel. The staff was pleasant and the restaurant was good. The people at ... the concierge desk were not as familiar with the Disney parks as we would have liked, and they were unable to answer some of our questions. The hotel was not far from Downtown Disney, but the bus did not run until after 6 p.m. It was pretty far to the parks, too, but the buses were pretty regular. It would have been a better place to stay if we had brought a car. We would not have spent so much time waiting for transportation, and we would have had more freedom to get to Downtown Disney during the day. The beds were comfortable, but the pull-out sofa was lumpy and full of springs. The in-room coffee maker leaked all over the counter. Other than that, it was a good place to stay at a fair price.

This hotel is great if going to visit Disneyworld or Universal Studios. Great value. The Bed is EXTREMELY comfortable, you ... may not want to leave it. Great LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!
