Best Hotel I've Stayed In

My boyfriend and I came up from North Port Fl (approx. 600 mile drive) to visit my dad in prison. While shopping on [...] I ... wanted a hotel that was cheap but I didn't want a roach hotel either. This hotel was the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The bathroom was spotless, as was the room. The only bad thing, was they gave us five pillows for the two of us. We didn't request another because i won the fight over the third pillow haha! He only got two. The other bad thing was that we could hear the neighbors both next to us and above us.This hotel was great. There's a walmart just a few miles away. the beach is right down the road. The free breakfast was the best I've had too. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, cereal, milk, juice, fruit, bread, etc. All excellent! Will definitely stay here next year!

We enjoyed the Pensacola Zoo quite a bit. It was a little warm, but was great for the price. Our little girl really enjoyed it. My best tip for going to the beach. Instead of going to the main public access beach, you should drive on down just a little bit and you can park on the side of the road. These beaches are awesome because there are hardly any people there and you can be right by the water. They don't have showers, but for us it was totally worth it not to have to put up with so many other people. My little girl had plenty of room to run and play and do as she pleased.

Best Hotel I've Stayed In

Just comparing it to the Best Western in Destin. I think the star rating by Orbitz was too high. The place was only 2 1/2 ... years old, carpet was stained. Food was horrible and cold, no place to sit. Fire alarm went off, no call to tell us all was okay. Most of all the price was too high for the conditions and the area. Bums ran to the car each time you returned to the hotel

We had a very enjoyable overall trip to Pensacola. We did quite a bit of stuff. The Pensacola Zoo was great, Surf Burger ... on the island was delicious and very reasonably priced. The beach was nice and we loved the firework show and community involvement at the Old Seville Firework Display. The Fish House was a very delicious restaurant with a little higher prices, but much better food choices. The atmosphere was great! The only thing we would do different next time is stay directly on the beach. While it was only a 20 minute drive, which was no biggie, having a 2 year old made it not so great. It would have been nice not to have to lug everything back and forth. The drive wasn't bad, the hotel is very easy to find, the city is easy to get around in, and the hotel staff was very friendly! I was greatly impressed with the deal we got for our money! I would highly recommend this place again. By the way, our room was very large and super clean.

NICE HOTEL, BUT............

I did not like the fact that this hotel gave you an admittance ticket just to get into the breakfast area, like we were at a ... fair or carnival. If you wanted to take a plate and eat breakfast in your room instead of at the breakfast area, you were not allowed to do that. I have never stayed at a hotel that did this kind of conduct. In addition, you had to have their user ID to get on the computer, and the TV volume would be capped at a preset level which made some stations difficult to hear. Orbitz should have made these facts known before I booked my hotel reservations.......had it done that, I would not have stayed there. Finally, I would never stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. I have never stayed at a hotel that was controlling and took away freedoms that I have at many other hotels which I stay at.

We only stayed for one night but it was an awesome hotel and we would stay again. The staff (esp [...]) was so helpful and ... nice. We wanted to take a couple hours and visit the nearby beach. [...] told us it was about a 20 minute drive and even went so far as to print out direction for us. He also informed us that there was a toll road to access the beach so we wouldn't be surprised.The room was so clean and smelled nice. There were plenty of nice clean fluffy white towels. The air conditioner worked perfectly. The beds were so comfortable that we all slept like the dead. I have a bad back and normally have a hard time with hotel beds but no problems with the room we had!!The breakfast was so-so. None of us like the gravy or the eggs but there was plenty of other stuff to satisfy our family of 5.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel was pretty good for the price, though it smelled a little like old stale ... smoke. It was nice to see a hotel promoting an environmental program with the re-using of sheets & towels. The free breakfast was nice, though some of the elements were not very appealing (flat folded eggs).

I had a wonderful experince at this hotel. It was very clean and the staff was excellent. They were very attentive, helped ... with directions, and provided great suggestions for dining ect. The hotel was clean and affordable. I would definatley stay here again.

Best Western's location was ideal for an event my husband was attending less than 4 miles away. This seemed to be a somewhat ... new hotel and the staff was VERY hospitable and friendly; our room was spacious and very clean with ample pillows and towels. Nice variety of food for continental breakfast and having computer access in the business center was helpful since we didn't have a lap-top!

The hotel was nice and clean the staff was friendly, The breakfast provided was good included eggs,bacon sausage, biscuits ... which was surprising did not think hot items would be available just cold items like muffins and doughnuts which they also had. They have some good places to eat near by the hotel the family diner was very good with that old time feel and menu options.

The location of the Best Western Blue Angels Inn was excellent for our stay in Pensacola. The room was spacious, and clean ... and well maintained. The Best Western offered a hot breakfast meal, that was excellent in it's selection of items for quality and was very good. All the staff would go out of their way in answering question and helping to make the stay and excellent experience.

The Best Western Blue Angel is an excellent hotel in a great location that provides easy access to Pensacola, the Naval Air ... Station, and I-10. The staff is very competent and friendly, and the hotel rooms fine in every way, including internet and refrigerator. The Business Center on the first floor serves well for those who don't bring a laptop computer with them.

The Best Western Blue Angel Inn was very clean and comfortable, the suite was just the right size for my family. I really ... liked the lay out of the room, the vanity sink was in the bathroom behind a closed door. The bathroom was one of the cleanest and largest bathrooms I have seen in a suite yet. My family and I will be going back to Best Western Blue Angel Inn.
