Very nice rooms and staff
Nate the Ump Sep 28, 2009
Getting to the hotel was not too easy since our flight landed around 11:00 pm. There is no shuttle and a taxi is $25.00. Once ... we got there, it was great!! The staff couldn't have been more helpful and polite. The rooms are very large- ours had two Queen beds, a desk, chair, mini-fridge, and a microwave. There is a nice pool, small workout room, volleyball court, and a ton of other extras. The restaurant and bar are a little pricey, but you need to pay for convenience.

Centrally located, small room
Ingrid Nov 23, 2008
This hotel was centrally located in downtown Phoenix and had easy access to main roads and public transportation. It was a ... little hard to find at first, since it is 1/2 block off a main road, and has only one very small sign to guide you in. The front lobby was small and a little awkward, but this really wasn't a problem. The front desk staff: some were knowlegable about the area, some were not helpful at all -- but there was only one person on at a time, which caused some delays. The room was really small, but still had everything I needed (tv, coffee pot, hairdryer, iron, etc.) I did not eat at the hotel, so I cannot rate the restaurant or service.

What's that SMELL
Kevin Oct 20, 2008
When I checked in, the gentleman at the desk was on the phone. I arrived at 6pm and there was only one person at the desk. ... He was helping another person check in and was dealing with someone on the phone. I waited in line for 10 minutes before he could get to me. He assigned me to my room. I went up and as soon as I opened the door I was overwhelmed with a HORRIBLE odor. I went further into the room to call him at the front desk, but the smell was so strong I could not even get to the phone. I went downstairs to the desk to find the gentleman at the desk on the phone once more. I waited another 10 minutes for him to finish. I told him about the room he had originally assigned me, he notified me that the only room he had left was a room with two double beds and none with a Sleep Number. I was so tired from my travels, that I didn't complain and went to my newly assinged room. I was totally dissatisfied with this hotel. Not only did they not have an airport shuttle and the cab fare was $25, but the overall experience was a nightmare.

My review of Radisson Hotel Phoenix City Center
Benjamin Aug 25, 2008
Our check in was good, it was late when we arrived and once in our room we realized the air conditioner had a bad oder. The ... next morning we told the front desk to check it. We were told it would be fixed or we would be offered a different room. The air was checked we were told but never fixed and we weren't offered the other room. We stayed three miserable nights. When we turned our keys in the staff didn't even say thank you. We wouldn't recommend this Radisson to others.

Friendly staff
Carolyn Aug 22, 2008
I found this hotel to be very convenient to everything. It is very close to the tram once it starts running. The best ... feature was the lovely garden - very nice place to have a drink at the end of the day. The in-room refrigerator and microwave are a big plus. The staff was very friendly, and the room very clean. My only criticism is that the carpets are getting a little worn.

This is the place to party!
Erin Jul 10, 2008
We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and the last 2 were horrible. 3 bus loads of guests arrived, all from the same group, ... and they were extremely disrespectful to all of the other guests. They were screaming, yelling, slamming doors, and running up and down the hallways until the wee hours of the morning. We asked hotel management to do something about it beginning at 11pm, the night before our 6am flight. They kept saying they would, but they didn't do anything affective. It was very disappointing and our trip home was pretty miserable because we were so tired. Then because we got no sleep at all, we inadvertently packed our keys in our luggage and then our luggage got lost so we couldn't go home when we got to our airport--had to get another hotel room. Plus, our fridge was not very cold, now matter what we did, and Sleep Number beds are not comfortable. And ours did hold the air, so we would wake in the morning to a sagging mattress. Very disappointing. Before the noise, everything else was tolerable. We still managed to have a great trip.

Hotel Stay
Joseph Jul 9, 2008
This was my first time ona a sleep number bed and I dont recommend them. Also the Hotels bartenders were not so pleasant to ... talk to and the resturant they had was very expensive and offered nothing more than a meal you could get at apple bees or chilis for about $10 dollars less. The breakfast was a deluxe continental brekfast buffet and they charged $8.95 for it and I think that was outragous. Well the hotel has a nice homey feel to it and is updated nicley adn I enjoyed the pool on the roof top.

Nice and quiet
Gary Jun 30, 2008
The hotel was nice and quiet, which is important when your meetings start bright and early in the morning. The hotel staff ... was friendly and helpful, suggesting places to eat and the closest pharmacy. We liked the pool area, and the fact that we could go to the pool after the heat of the day dissapated - which was very late at night. The pool and gardens were well maintained - the flowers smelled delightful in the moonlight.
