OK overnight by airport

This was an OK stay for the night before a flight out of SFO. We returned a rental car the afternoon we arrived and it took ... an hour for a shuttle to come by to pick us up at the airport to bring us back to the motel. It was very windy, cold and boring standing outside waiting for the shuttle. We were told by someone at the front desk that they came every 20 minutes. Did not like having to have a ticket for the breakfast. Have traveled a lot in the past 6 months and never had to do that anywhere else.

The room was very clean, had everything it should (towels, soap, hair dryer - although broken, internet access, etc) and ... nothing it shouldn't. It was great for the price. The food was okay (I could eat it) but not great (I wished I went out to eat). The bar staff was a little on the less than fluent side of the English language, which was kind of irritating when trying to order with dietary limitation.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. we had to ask for towels and sops for the 2nd day morning. other than that everything ... was ok. the breakfast spread was also good. except that it was the same for both the days. the entire stay was very economic to us. definetly recommend to someone who is looking for a decent economic stay.....

The Best Western Grosvenor Hotel was nice, clean and not too far from downtown San Francisco - easy access from the freeways ... (north & south) entrances. There's about half a dozen places to eat around the hotel which is conveinent. I would stay there again for short durations. The only thing that I did not like is that I think the room we were in was made into a non-smoking room, cause you can still smell the odor.

I was very satisfeid with the Best Western Grosvenor Hotel. Only complaint it was too far from town and you had to go to ... the Air Port to get the Bart into Town or take two buses. Nest time I would like to be closer to town.

The Best Western Grosvenor SFO is somewhere I have stayed many times. It provides a free buffet breakfast and high speed ... internet and I utilize both. It is very close to the SFO airport which helps me as I usually check out of the hotel and catch an early morning flight. The staff who greeted me at the front desk this trip was first class. Occasionally you get someone not in the best of moods. Although I travel there on business as my company headquarters is in the general area, I don't have many opportunities to check out the area for restaurants, but one of my favorites, the Hungry Hunter is very close by. The rooms are clean and comfortable which is what most travelers are looking for.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days. Unfortunately on 4 different occasions in the same day we were awoken during our nap time ... (we have a two year old) for maintenance. Employees said that somebody called regarding broken glass, the front desk sent someone over regarding a request that we never requested, a maintance inspection in the bathroom and then it was a wrong room they knocked on. We spoke to the manager in charge, and he never apologized for the inconvenience, however he offered to investigate but he never got back to us as he promised and told us no problem. A simple apology would have made things much better, instead we were made to feel as if it was our falt.

The Best Western Grosvenor is located about half a mile from the SF International Airport. This, obviously makes it a great ... hotel for late arrivals and early departures from the airport. We called from the airport announcing our arrival, which was close to 11:00 PM. When we did arrive at the hotel, the restaurant, bar and room service were all closed, hence no way of getting something to eat. The breakfast was unsatisfactory, the restaurant was not very clean. The room comfort was acceptable for the price and also acceptably clean. On a business trip I would choose this hotel again only for its location; don't even think about it for vacation or leisure.

We recently had our second stay at the Best Western Grosvenor hotel in South San Francisco. WE love this hotel. It's clean ... the staff and service are wonderful and the full hot breakfast a great way to start the day. We are less than 20 mins from downtown SFC and Fishermans Wharf, an easy drive or even a bus ride. The bus stops right outside the hotel. Clean rooms, comfy beds and great service.

My review of Best Western Grosvenor Airport Hotel

/The Best Western Govenier was very busy and we were rushed thru check in. Our room had a ripped bed spread and there was ... dirt blocking the fan in the bathroom. We had to request conditioner. The pool area was very clean and the pool was a great temperature. The room service was painfully slow for dinner and when we requested ketchup for our daughters french fries I had to go to there kitchen and get it my self after over 10 minutes of waiting. The location was great for airport access but the industrial noise and loud explosions at 4 a.m. were very unsettling but made for great breakfast discussion with other guests.

There was a restaurant in the hotel that provided a free hot, delicious breakfast from 6:00 AM thru 11:00 AM. The hotel restaurant was also open for supper til from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Across the street from the hotel was a McDonalds, open 24 hours and a block away was an IHOP.

Nothing was close by. South San Francisco is an industrial town. The McDonald's across a busy street was the only place to eat within walking distance. Every other attraction/restaurant is reached by car or bus only.
