The room was not stocked well. There was only 1/4 roll of bathroom tissue and a very limited supply of soap and toilet ... articles. The telephone was in disrepair and there was no remote control for the television. The room was supposed to be not smoking but it was very musty smelling and had a smoke smell to it. The staff was friendly but was not able to respond to in a timely manner to requests due to being very understaffed. By the end of the day on Saturday the pool was so cloudy that you could not see the bottom.

Our check in time was 3 o'clock. After driving all day we were told our room was still not ready, we did not get into the ... room until almost 4. The receptionist did not care that we were visually upset about the wait. Once in the room our keys did not work, they were never swiped. The room was filthy. There was hair all over the bathroom counter and in the tub. The carpet was moist and disgusting. This was truly the worst hotel experience I have ever had!!!!!

For the price, the result is so not worth it. The front desk staff wasn't particularly friendly (especially when I complained ... about the vending machine taking my coins without delivering the product), the room had clearly seen better days (both of the chairs were ripped, the television had purple streaks on it) and the walls were so thin I could hear the screaming couple next door early in the morning.

The room right next to mine was full of noisy teenagers whose parents were on the above floor. I had to call the front desk ... twice to have them try and get control of the teenagers. This was at 1:30 and 2:30 in the am. I believe that the hotel should not let unsupervised teenagers stay in the rooms.

The La Quinta Inn was very nice. The room was extremely clean, and quite comfy. However, the hotel was having the parking ... lots reasurfaced, and that made for a huge parking dilemma. Other than that, everything was nice. The hotel is in a very convenient area, surrounded with all kinds of resturants and shopping. Also, it was just a short trip to the Amusement park and the Cadillac Ranch. The hotel staff were friendly, as well as helpful, and the rest of the hotel was very well kept. I would definately stay at this location again!!
