Nice hotel, well designed, with an enthusiastic reception and good services. Many construction details poorly finished, ... especially in halls and bathroom (loose fixtures, minimal tiling), charge for Wi-Fi, unlined drawers (bare, unfinished wood).

If you want to ride the metro into DC, take the Hotels early shuttle to the Metro and ride it, then take a Taxi from the Metro Back to the Hotel. The Metro runs out of parking quickly.

Surprisingly nice!

I had driven by this hotel for years when I used to work around here, but I didn't know it was a little Tysons gem. Now that ... I no longer live in the area, I booked it because of location and available parking, but found it obviously has recently been updated, quite pleasantly. I saw a dog in the hallway with someone who appeared to be a guest, so it's possible the hotel allows dogs (I'm not sure). What I care about more is that the hotel is 100% smoke-free. I did note a couple of people smoking outside, so perhaps the hotel could designate areas for smokers for clarity. Room service glass sitting outside my door when I got there, so not quite 5-star, but I'd stay there again, no question.

Once I entered the hotel I was concerned because, it seems like there was some kind of high school conference there with a ... lot of kids and noise. I was pleasantly surpise they put me on the floor that was quiet and I would not know if kids were there if I didnt enter the lobby. Although the room was cold it was very clean and comfortable hotel room. One things I thought the person that brought up my room service was rushing me and kind of rude. I told him I want to give him a tip but I question now if I should. Besides that it was worth the price I paid. I would stay there again.

My experience at The Westin Tysons Corner was above average. I stayed in this hotel for 11 nights. The amenities are good. ... Very nice workout room, pool and spa. The hotel restaurant is a bit pricy, but good food. Luckily there are many other food choices in the area if you have a car. The staff were always very accomodating and friendly. They could offer more shuttles to the Metro Station, but you can get a taxi there for a low cost. Overall good stay, comfortable furniture and decent price.

Ok. This wasnt bad at all considering the price i paid for and the location. Nice bed and nice decent size rooms. Few things ... i would like to complain about though...Y ou had to pay for the internet connection. Ive stayed in other lower star hotels before that provided free internet service. Also, a bit noisy. I can hear people talking and walking from the hallway..Also, i wish they had better parking areas.. but overall was great..

Wonderful Stay, Great Price!

We were on business but took an extra day to enjoy ourselves. The hotel is next to the Capitol Beltway but I didn't notice ... any noise from it. It's very close to a mall with great shopping and restaurants. The Blue Fire Grill in the hotel is on the pricey side but the food was excellent as was the service. Our stay was great and the next time we're in the area I'll definitely be checking to see if the Westin Tysons Corner can accommodate us.

The distance to the mall is definitely within walking distance but the traffic is busy and difficult to negotiate as the mall is on the other side of the Beltway from the hotel. Better to drive.

Visited family on this trip. Convenient location to Dulles airport and to shopping (husband needed barber: it was five ... minutes away. Breakfast buffet was superb with fresh fruits (raspberries) rarely seen on buffet, lovely smoked salmon. Everything prepared from scratch, including potatoes. Rooms were small but immaculate and very modern. Staff was courteous; check-in and out was instantaneous. This hotel is an excellent value.

The staff was very helpful in giving us directions to the mall and getting us a phone number we needed. Our room was very ... clean and spacious. "Heavenly beds" are advertised - big understatement. This was the first time I slept well in a hotel bed! The only thing I can think of that would have been helpful would be a small beside reading lamp.

There is a metro station within a short driving distance. You can ride this all day for really cheap. Much better than driving in D.C.
