Not Too Pleased
Traveler Sep 14, 2009
The location was great and the lobby is very nice. However, the rooms were very old and had that musty smell. The room I ... was given was nothing like those on the website - perhaps second rate rooms are given to bargain hunters?! There is no business center, but a computer is available for a fee in the lobby; I took my laptop for the complimentary wireless service. When I needed to print an itme for my work, there were no options and I had to drive a few miles to a Kinko's to get the 6 pages I needed.

Mediocre rest stop
ED Aug 24, 2009
Electronic key card did not work in our room door or in the door from parking lot. The night security lock was physically ... broken and management failed to repair it within two and a half hours. Finally after I raised my voice the repairman arrived and of course had no parts available but was successful on his second attempt. The supervisor gave us a breakfast voucher for two; but, the discount offered for the room never materialized. The "newly renovated" room for which we paid extra had badly stained carpeting in both rooms; the housekeeper had no coffee for the coffeemaker and left soiled wash cloths on the floor. This is our fifth stay at this motel under the third management and first with orbitz. Won't be back!

Another pleasant stay at Radisson
Jeremy Aug 19, 2009
Radisson is becoming one of my favorite hotels to stay in. This is my third time (each in a different city) in the last 3-5 ... years and every one of them was just a delight. The suite is well-appointed with flat-screen TV, sleep number bed, dark furniture for that classy-look, wi-fi, just to name a few. This one in particular had a great location. It was near a lot of shopping centers and restaurants. Ikea was practically next door -- I love Ikea. The lobby was beautiful. It had an old Spanish influence and feel to it. We walked in, my 9-year old daughter and I and instantaneously we both said, "Wow!" at the sight of the lobby. Now this is not a resort hotel, of course. I will not compare it to one in all fairness. But next year, and every time we need a place to stay in the area where this hotel is located, we will surely return and stay here again.

the rooms were spacious but dusty the vent in the hall ceiling had several dust bunnys hanging down and was all bent and ... looked like swat team had entered through it. We needed an iron and had to call the front desk they brought one but the surface had to be cleaned before we could use it, the microwave didnt work called the front desk someone came and he said it didnt work. The said they would be right back waited an hour then called because it was late and we wanted to go to bed the front desk said that they would call and let us know where the service person was. They never called back. We called again the next afternoon and they repalced the microwave while we were out but it also didnt work very well and didnt have the plate you needed to cook. The maids blocked the exit with thier carts so it was an obstacle corse to get through. The sleep number beds were very nice.

Rennovated Rooms a Pleasant Surprise
M & L Williams Jul 21, 2009
We had a problem at check in as our room was not ready due to an unexpected housekeeping staff- Sick out. No bell captains ... and the sheets had not been changed from the previous visitors. A real turn-off almost made me want to leave. However, the night manager came and took care of the issue right away. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet variety and the staff was very friendly. For the price, I felt the hotel met my expectations and it is conveniently right by the freeway, (yet quiet) and its close to all sorts of shopping and such. Kid friendly pool, ample parking close to our room. Very comfy bed. I felt like i was sleeping on a cloud. THe suites have separate living and sleeping areas. Perfect for families. Central A/C and windows that offer fresh air.

Our stay was fine....
real estate super star Jul 12, 2009
We were at this hotel for a convention. It was adequate and our room was newly renovated, but the meeting room was musty and ... smelled of smoke, as the room did from time to time. My throat was hurting by day 2 from being in the meeting room all day. Everyone at the meeting wondered why this hotel was chosen. Usually it's a Hilton or Sheraton or westin. This would be a nice property for a family, as the pool area is beautiful. but there is not an affordable coffee shop or family restaurant nearby.(Closest one is several blocks away along the freeway. Can't really walk there, might not want to at night.)I don't really see how it is close to activities either, except raging waters. It would be nice if there was a coffee cart with muffins for morning snack before the meetings. We didn't want a buffet for $10.95.

Comfortable and reasonably priced
Rachel Nov 20, 2008
We only stayed overnight but were very comfortable and any request we made such as late checkout, extra towels were not a ... problem. We left a briefcase behind with very important papers and we're very relieved to get it back with everything intact. The hotel was very clean and even though renovations were being made on the grounds, we weren't inconvenienced and we didn't hear any noise. We would stay here again. We were attending a funeral at Forest Lawn and this location was only 1 exit away. Lots of restaurants close by.

Fine if you can find it
Joseph Sep 29, 2008
Radisson Suites is an OK choice but very difficult to reach, coming off the free-way. One realy needs to get specific ... directions in advance. Not much sound-deadening insulation present in the room walls. You may be 'entertained' by next door guests. Restaurant is 'pricey' and not a lot of alternative choices close by. Breakfast was the best food option: free 'continental' breakfast, $4.95 extra for full, hot breakfast but worth it. Access to rooms from parking lots in rear areas a little dark and forbidding at night. (And what is with all the storage containers scattered throughout most of the parking areas). Don't rely on directional help from front desk staff. If they can't pull directions up on a computer, they won't know anything.

My review of Radisson Suites Hotel Covina
angela May 18, 2008
The Raddisson Hotel in West Covina is my choice of places to stay whenever I'm there. I really like the fact that the room ... is spacious and more like a small apartment. Very comfortable. The breakfast is always delicious and one of the main reasons I choose this Raddisson. Renovations were in progress and it would have been nice to know the best routes to take on the property to avoid these areas. Be aware of the phone charges as they were different from what I read and thought that I would be paying. Overall, the stay was very good and the property is very beautiful and inviting. Hotel is right off the interstate.

The Radisson in Covina, CA was an excellent choice for the money. Very spacious room with refrigerator, microwave, coffee ... maker, dining area, living area, and seperate bedroom area. Very clean, nice comfortable beds and pillow. Free continental breakfast was nicely displayed. Nice central location to lots of hot spots - we visited Laguna Beach, Disney, Irvine shopping area. Recent renovations at this hotel have made it even more enjoyable! The flat screen tv opens up the living room, and the ... removal of the bar area gives the dining area a great deal of space! The pool and hot tub are phenomenal. The breakfast is a great value and tasty!
