Not a bad place to stay

Our first night was bad. We got there around 11 pm, to find we had been booked in a wheelchair handicapped room with a very ... small full size bed and no fridge. The shower was on level with the floor and the water managed to miss the drain and headed for the hall. First thing in the morning, I talked to the desk clerk{ who remembered me from my last trip there several months ago)and let her know and she made it right by moving us to another floor with a fridge, microwave, and king size bed, same price! I honestly like staying there. The breakfast is fresh and awesome, very clean.

If you want to walk, or drive, right across from the motel is a shopping center with everything you need from walmart, to dining. It offers a nice variety of eating and shopping really close to the motel.

If you want to walk, or drive, right across from the motel is a shopping center with everything you need from walmart, to dining. It offers a nice variety of eating and shopping really close to the motel.

Unfortunately I arrived during a weekend with a LARGE family reunion. Very noise and it took quite a long time to check ... in. Also........Orbitz charged me more for the room than the hotel would have! I thought there was supposed to be a savings.

Quick drive to where I needed to go

First let me say I've stayed at LaQuinta before because they are pet friendly. I've also atayed at this particular location ... before - It is a five minute drive to my brothers and so convienient. I will stay there again. Each experience is unique and this is what happened on my last stay there. When we arrived there was a shoe print on one of the beds (my niece may have done it). Once we told Guest Services the problem was rectified immediately. I did leave something (nothing of value to anyone but me) in my room at the time of checkout & when I went back for it (appx. 30 - 45 min) the cleaning staff had come and gone but neglected to turn the item over to lost & found or Guest Services in the event I returned.

After booking this hotel, I was doing more research on the area and started getting nervous because of the negative reviews ... of the location. Granted, maybe it's not the best area, but I felt perfectly comfortable there. The hotel was mostly clean (one of the towels had a long hair on it, but the others were fine) and the brief interactions we had with the staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable too, though we had two double beds so my husband and I slept separately (I think we both slept better though!). We missed the continental breakfast both days (ended at 9 am) but overall the hotel was great - close enough to what we needed without being expensive. If we needed a hotel in the Baltimore area again I would stay here. Unfortunately no mini fridge so the leftovers I was hoping to have for lunch the second day were garbage but that's a minor inconvenience. I loved the free Wi-Fi and proximity to restaurants, stores and gas stations.

We had dinner at the Red Brick Station, which was about a 5 minute drive away. They brew their own beer and it was fantastic - if you are looking for a chain-style pub, this is the place.

My first visit to this hotel was enjoyable. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly and ... helpful. On this second trip, the receptionist was incredibly difficult to communicate with - he was quite rude and incompetent. I shared this was the management with no intervention or follow-up.

Nice Getaway Near Baltimore

This was a friendly, clean, and efficient hotel. The breakfast is more than a buffet; it was breakfast with waffles, ... bananas, coffee, muffins, and a wonderful staff of one. This was intimate. We are returning this weekend for 2 nights! We will enjoy the Fells Point Section of Baltimore.

Hello, We stayed aat the hotel for four nights and loved it. Everyone was so friendly and wonderful to us. The staff ... went out of their way to see to it that we had anything we needed or wanted. We loved it! Our only complaint was that the pool did not open until 11 A.M. We wanted to swim after breaklfast. Every thing other than that was just like home. Our room was clean and had everything a person needs for a stay.
