Shopping is a short walk and convenient. If you want half-price tickets for a show, get across the street early (by 9ish or 9:30ish) to get best selection at the half-price booth located below the skywalk.

Upon check in we were offered an upgrade of the top floor for a very reasonable price, it was well worth it (60th floor). ... The room was gorgous, the bed was super comfy and the bedding was wonderful. We ate at Daniel Boulud's restaurant, the SW and many drinks at the Parasol up and down. For lunch, we ate at Red and for drinks wondered over to Encore (the other tower on the property) and had a great time. The light show was terrific and Le Reve was spectacular!!!! I would definately go again and have told all of my friends and family how terrific it was!

Wynn Experience, Amazing!
Mario and Alice Nov 17, 2009
Wynn stay was an amazing experience for us. We decided to try this hotel and were not disappointed. As soon as we stepped in ... the lobby, we were greeted with a quiet atmosphere; registration was superb and friendly. Efficient staff was always ready to assist in every need. "Above expectations" describes our stay. We usually stay in the other big hotel but we decided to try other ones, and the Wynn delivered. Enjoyable stay! We'll try its sister hotel Encore next time.

Wynn Las Vegas Rocks- very classy!
Jeff & Jill Nov 10, 2009
One of the best appointed hotels in Vegas! Check in was efficient and very friendly. Rooms are spectacular, beds very ... comfortable with down duvet and bathrooms are marble tiled and very spacious and modern with large shower, separate jacuzzi tib and 2 vanities so husband and wife can get ready at the same time. Shopping is very upscale but great eye candy. Buffet and restaurant/cafe costs are a bit pricy but this is ABSOLUTELY a 5 star hotel! If you want food poisioning go to the old casinos where food is cheap and looks a bit like the scary food items on Chevy Chases Vegas Vacation! Why not spend a 100-200 dollars more and book the Wynn and stay in luxury versus one of the tired older casinos!

Cirque De Soliel's(sp) Zumanity at the New York/NY Casino is sexy and very funny....we highly recommend for couples that are open minded. Paid $ 89. for 3rd row seats at discount ticket booth 1/2 block North of Wynn across from Circus Circus

Honey Moon Getaway
honeymoon couple Nov 10, 2009
I proposed to my new bride at Wynn Las Vegas and told her we we would stay there some day. Well, we did for our honey moon, ... and we were glad we did... We have stayed at numerous other hotel/casinos in Las Vegas, none can compare to Wynn. The best food, the best drinks, the best nightlife, and the friendliest staff, even the room/maid service were the friendliest we have had. The pool area was beautiful and glamorous. The buffet is better than any we have had. The only very minor issue was check in, somewhat slow but they keep it quaint, they dont have an overbearingly large check in lobby which is tacky anyhow.
Traveler type: Couples
Go to the buffet around 1030 am for breakfast prices, but they soon start changing over to the lunch menu. Best of both worlds, breakfast and lunch both at the breakfast price. Not that their breakfast is anything to scouff at though.

Look at the hotel information shown on TV in the rooms. If dining in the hotel, make reservations as early as you can, restaurants get booked quickly. There are other many good restaurants near the hotel too. If you want to sun bathe, go early since the hotel buildings hide the sun early afternoon.
--Eudoro, TN Nov 10, 2009
For check in do not self park, there are no bell boys or carts to assist. You end up pulling your luggage through the center of the casino floor to get to the registration desk. Use the valet parking they have attendants there.
--SEMA, NJ Nov 9, 2009
if you're staying on the strip don't rent a car unless you 'explore' .. everything's in walking distance and cabs are not that expensive.
--Thene, NJ Nov 9, 2009
Do not plan a late night meal here. Really was disappointed with the after midnight food choice. We are not the first people to visit Vegas that stayed up late and needed a little food before bed, Laughing! We enjoyed a few nights, but ended up getting some pre made sandwiches from 7-11 for our room.
--Suuperfrk, Orlando, Fl Nov 8, 2009
The brunch at "The Buffet" was excellent! The poolside cafe for breakfast was also great! Great food, great service, clean, comfortable seating areas. Dining at the Wynn, although may get expensive, was an all around great experience. Le Reve, Cirque du Soleil, was excellent!! Get the cheapest tickets you can find because every seat in that theater is a great seat, really! Table minimums are almost all $25, for us non high rollers, you can lose a lot of $ very quickly, be careful.
