We were only here for the night. The breakfast buffet was nice, lots to pick from. The desk personnel was very nice and ... informative. Location is close to the airport and all freeways. I would stay here again if i was in the area.

Pluses: Very near to airport, prompt and free shuttle service, free buffet breakfast, decent size rooms and bathrooms, ... wifi. Minuses: Noisy air conditioning unit, lackluster bar service. This is a small, no-frills motel which adequately met my needs for 2 nights accommodation near to the airport. Good for short 1-2 night stopovers. Got a great rate, so good value for money. There were families and singles enjoying the small pool/garden area. On site restaurant, bar and lounge.

Everything about the hotel is bad. There is nothing close to it. Its in a bad neighborhood and the holtel it self is very ... very dirty. The pictures that you see online are just to fool you. Don't go there!!!!HATED THE PLACE!!!!

Believe all of the bad reviews!!! This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. The hotel lobby and bar area smelled. ... The tiki bar was never open and the hotel rooms were worse than Motel 6. I got burned in the shower by the hot water, it would come on in spurts while you are taking a shower and it was scolding hot! This hotel isn't in walking distance of anything. I highly recomment the Ocean Sky Hotel & Resort, very nice! I would never stay at this hotel again.

I was here for an overnight stay before my flight home. The location was real good for what I needed it for. The hotel needs ... a lot of TLC and I think the neighborhood isn't the best, however the staff tried real hard!!

The hotel stay was fine. But they offer secure parking while we were on a 6 day cruise. When we returned, our vehicle had ... been broken into. We called the police. The hotel said that the security cameras didn't work. Three vehicles were broken into. The hotel was not very helpful and still charged us for the "unsecure" parking.

I was in florida to see my boyfriend and my family. The hotel location is good, the only thing was that around 12am we ... started to hear some planes landing at the airport. So, kind of noisy around midnight for like an hour. It is definitely worth the price tho. The room was clean, service was great. Pool was clean, staff was friendly. The problem we had was the water in the shower. It would turn real hot all of the sudden and we were almost getting burned by it. Also the a/c was smelling bad, every morning we would wake up with this nasty smeel of rotten eggs or even an old fart!!!! The breakfast buffet was not good at all, after 5 days we were really tired to see the same breakfast everyday, not real eggs, greasy bacon, grits and corn beef!! Lets not talk about the instant coffee!! At least they as some fruits, cereals, and bagels!! After all we had a great time, it was worth the price and we were satified!!

If you are waiting for the shuttle to take you to the cruise port arrive early for the shuttle and wait outside with your bags ready. The shuttles are small and if everyone does not fit on the first shuttle you will have to wait for the next one.

The 95 and 595 will take you to Ft. Lauderdale and Miami Beach. You can get to the Everglades and Plantation by way of either of these freeways.

The Discovery Cruise Line is at Port Everglades and the shuttle is free to get there. The one day cruise to the Bahamas is a must if you will only be in Fort Lauderdale for a short stay.
