stayed there before and will stay again. But are room had empty beer bottles behind the drapes, a paper in the phone book ... from 3 monthes ago. The worst offence was a towl left on the desk chair. At least they said they were sorry.............

Perfectly located, attractive building, good bar, available restaurants, nice people. Like many hotel now, they seem to try ... and save money by making it difficult to make the room warmer or coller than the preset temperature. It would warm up for aminute and then cool back down again.

This hotel was up to date and we enjoyed the stay. We were within easy walking distance to wonderful brewpubs, restaurants, ... theatre, and sights.

We were given a warm welcome from the hotel clerk. Because we are a Priority Club member they upgraded our room. We went ... to the The Phantom of the Opera at the Uihlein Hall at the Marcus Center which is right across the street from the hotel. I surprised my wife for her birthday. It was nice outside in the evening that we went for a walk after the play. We would go back this hotel again if we were to stay over night downtown. The next day we walked around the area and enjoyed spending the day downtown.

Excellent property. The staff was very corteous and helpful, the room was neat and clean plenty large. Had a great time in ... the lounge for happy hour and for a night cap. Very convenient location, walking distance to numerous restuarants and taverns.

Summer Feast, 11 days 700 bands, great food & the best beer. Hotel is close to the bus lines, some of the best ... restaurants,nite life, etc. The hotels modern restaurant is first class and the bar, so much fun. The view from the room window, a view to remember.

In town for one night visiting some friends. We enjoyed a drink in the attractive bar. Staff was friendly and efficient. ... Upon arrival a table with coffee and c.c. cookies- two of my favorite things- earned an extra star after the drive up from Chicago. The room was quiet and comfortable, though the layout was not the best with a smaller bathroom seperating a sitting area and the bedroom. Flat screen in each room. Modern styling was good looking, Bedding above avg. comfort. Overall a reasonable value, other than the pricey parking. The hotel offered comfort and a convenient location with some added style.

This hotel just happened to be next to where the event we were going up for. Upon entering the lobby it was just modern ... classy. The staff was friendly and the rooms were great. There was a feeling of sophistication and class in the room as well. The minute details were taken care of with everything. Extra room in the showers, ice buckets that fit the decor, sitting room that was separated from the bedroom. It was just exactly what I had always hoped to find in a hotel, and was pleasantly surprised when I found it here.

The SafeHouse (a hidden treasure in Milwaukee) is just a block and a half away. Make sure you get good directions to it though, as it is not labeled ANYWHERE!

Great service, surprisingly hip

I arrived at this hotel at about 9:30 on a Thursday morning. The very attractive clerk at the front desk informed me that ... yes, my room was available and yes, an early check in could be accomodated. Nice. The lobby was undergoing some small improvements but in general reflected a very hip, metro, W hotel kind of a feel. Great music, cool vibe. My room was another pleasant surprise. A small sitting room with couches and a TV greeted me when I walked in on the way to my nicely-sized bedroom. The bedroom was appointed with a nicely sized flat screen tv and a very plush king sized bed. The view was not great, but I suspect the other side of the hotel had a nice view of the river. The work out room was one of the better ones I've seen. A great array of free weights, and both cardio and weight machines. There was also a nice sized aerobic room where a trainer was working on stretching with someone. All of the staff was young, good looking, knowledgeable and very service oriented. I asked for "point me in the direction of" directions and I received a very thorough, step by step set of directions that were much appreciated. Overall location is about three easily and pleasantly walkable blocks from the city center and the Wells Fargo building. I give this hotel a very high recommendation. Finally, look around the corner near the front desk. They had a nice set up of coffee and cookies in the evening. Its not prominently displayed, but a pleasant find. Oh yeah, I easily got a hotel-arranged cab to the airport at 4:30 the next morning. Couldn't have been easier.

Go up the hill about two blocks and then right about two blocks...you'll find yourself on I think Milwaukee avenue. It has a great stretch of restaurants, most of which have outdoor and/or open front seating. It seems like the place to be for dinner...especially on Thursday nights.

The Intercontinental was posh and in-house amenities were readily available. The room was spacious and meticulously ... maintained. The hotel was conveniently located in the downtown area and about half an hour from the airport. Very satisfied with my stay.

The Intercontinental in Milwaukee was terrific. I was a late addition to my company's traveling party to Milwaukee. I believe ... I lucked out. The staff was very accomodating and knowledgable. My room was the epitome of comfort. If I go back, I would actively seek out the Intercontinental.
