We also found a bag of someone else's dirty clothes in our room! Thankfully, we didn't have to spend much time in the room but our next trip to Disney will be at a different resort.

Would stay again!
Amandafin Nov 4, 2009
Took my mom to Disney to celebrate her birthday November 2-4 which fell on a Monday-Wednesday. The room was great for what we ... needed. It was very clean and pretty comfy. Was pretty quiet except for the occasional door slam, and very quiet at night. We did not make use of the pools or arcade. The funky outdoor decor is cool, which my mom enjoyed. You gotta love having the free transportation to and from the parks. That in itself is a great reason to stay at a Disney property. Glad we didn't spend more money for an upgraded hotel... saved our money to eat and shop more at the park! Would stay at Pop Culture again.

Disney's Pop Century Resort review
Angel Disney Crazy Mom Oct 24, 2009
Customer service was excellent, very helpful. Beautiful surroundings, calming but yet very fun. Lots of things for children ... to do and see. Great, great arcade I had a hard time leaving as did my daughter. The rooms are a little small but the beds are extremely comfortable, slept like a baby. Most important, I felt safe walking around hotel grounds, always saw security driving around.

We have always stayed in the high end Disney properties in the past but this time we joined friends from south america ... staying there so that we could help them get around. Now we wonder why we hadn't tried the value resorts before. Just bring along a coffee maker and you will have a high end room without the foo foo amenities and high class furniture.Great bed,a/c,and grounds.

Pros and Cons
Benie Aug 30, 2009
The hotel was nice from the outside. But when I went into my room, it was pretty basic. I know that I had the standard room, ... but there was nothing disney about the inside. TV could use more channels. Staff/bus drivers were nice and courteous. I booked my reservation several months in advance but wasn't allowed to lock in a king bed. Could only add a request in the computer system. So I did, twice. And when I got to my room, 2 double beds.

Great Place to Stay in Disney
Ginny Aug 26, 2009
This was our first trip to Disneyworld. I read the reviews for the Pop Century Resort. We chose it because of the resonable ... price and the fact that it being a Disney Resort we got all the benefits of staying on Disney Property. I had read that the rooms were small. I did not find this to be true. I read that the walls were thin. We spent so little time in our room that was not an issue. I would recomend this resort to anyone. I would definitely stay there again.

If booking through Orbitz or another company, you will most likely not get the best 'view'; we were stuck on the back of the 80's building. However, this worked out great since we spent little time in our hotel room and the location was 3 minutes from the bus stop.
