No Thanksgiving but Great Christmas

Great location, staff, comfortable beds, beautiful room and pool. Our first WDisneyWorld trip--no idea so hard to get into a ... restaurant. Ate from a microwave several times--not fun. Our trip was the week before Thanksgiving, but the hotel was already decorated for Christmas--beautiful! Gingerbread carousel, Christmas music everywhere. Nice transportation available. Concierge services were great.

This was a joint trip of business and family vacation. My meetings were at the Dolphin which is within walking distance (15 ... minutes) but tough in heels particularly when walking on the boardwalk. It was worth it though as I felt I could get away from it all and truly relax at the Beach Club. My daughter loved the Sandcastle Club which she went to a couple of nights. Walking to Epcot was a treat!

If you want to eat a little less expensive meal, go to the Beaches N' Cream which is right in the hotel. Burgers and Ice cream were great!

The hotel was beautiful, and the service people did everything to help in every situation. I stayed with my brother who can't ... go to sleep without some noise. He wanted the TV on, and I can't sleep with the tv on. We comprimised and decided to use a fan for him, which with one call to the front desk, one was provided for us. Also I had a problem with my shuttle for on the way back to the airport. The mears people were of little help, so the people at the front desk were more than happy to make sure I had a ride with Disney Magical Express, and they also provided me with the voucher to get on the bus! The pool in this hotel was amazing. We went swimming every night after the hot days at the parks in Disney. towels are provided at the poolside, so don't worry about bringing any! We had a wonderful time, and would definatly stay there again!

Just a 5 minute walk from the back entrance to Epcot (where there is NEVER a line), the same distance to all the Boardwalk ... shops, and a short boat ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios. You just can't beat the location. As with any of the top Disney hotels, you couldn't ask for better service or a friendlier staff.

All the restaurants at Epcot are within a 15 minute walk, but be sure to make reservations ahead of time.
