Nice bed/shower, lousy amenities and ser

We greatly enjoyed the heavenly bed and heavenly shower that are part of the Westin branding. However @ 1:30 in the morning ... we were awoken by loud talking and noises in the room next to us. We called the front desk and were advised that a wedding party staying at the hotel was just breaking up. When I stepped outside my room the security officer was there and immediately asked me if I wanted to move. I stated that I did not as we had a lot of luggage that had been unpacked, it was 1:30am and we were not the one's making the noise. The noise went on until approximately 3:00am when I walked down to the front desk to complain, once again, about the noise in the next door room and hallway. As they could not seem to figure out what to do I told them that they should have security go to the rooms and clear them of all but the registered guests. Miracle of miracles this ended the noise and we could finally sleep before having to awaken at 7:00am the following morning. My parents and brother stayed at a much less expensive hotel, had free breakfast in the morning, and got free internet (the Westin charges $10/day even for their SPG members). When I went to check out couple of days later I advised the front desk of the difficulties that we had with the loud wedding parties. Their response? They gave me a 1000 SPG points. Not that I intend staying with the brand any time soon

An excellent location close to the airport and city, yet location was scenic. Very up to date decor in the rooms and a ... beautiful hotel overall. I was ther eon business and it was very relaxing
