Staff friendly and helpful, although had little local knowledge about the surrounding area. Walls and floor stained. Rooms ... very noisy. The doors shutting were very loud in adjacent rooms. Could hear other guests talking and the TV in adjacent rooms. Would not recommend it to others or stay there again.

Book the hire car in advance. The "walk up" rates are hugely inflated - in our case by 40%!

If you're going to the Amway Arena and looking for a place to eat and grab a few beers before the event visit Hoopsters. It's just a corner pub, but the prices were very resonable and the beer was cold. Better then spending all that money at the Arena!

A lovely stay at the Sheraton

I am always pleased with my stay at the Sheraton. We enjoyed the room with plenty of space, the staff were very friendly and ... helpful, and the beds are bliss! We came down for one night at a concert at the Amway theater- which is actually with in walking distance despite what the front desk clerk said. The stay was perfect for a quick over nigther.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton in downtown Orlando. Overall I was very pleased with my stay! The room was clean, big, ... had a great view, and had a modern decor feel. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful. The location was perfect. By being a few blocks from downtown, to one block away from the highway was very convient. You could get anywhere in fifteen minutes or so:) I would recommend this to anyone who would like a comfortable and relaxing stay in Orlando!

Sheraton Orlando was a great choise for business travel. They had a nice cocktail lounge and offered a nice and convienent ... breakfast option. My room was much more comfortable then anticipated. Over all a great stay.

Nice hotel. Room was very large but the carpet was pretty bad for a Sheraton. Otherwise the room was very clean and ... comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful too. Would have liked a more middle of the road dining option as there isn't anything nearby. Either it was a 30.00 dinner or a cup of yogurt. In spite of that inconvenience I'd stay again.
