Atlanta Quick Trip
IT Traveler Dec 13, 2009
Great location, nice common areas, friendly staff, killer view, super nice beds, dual-head shower, and a variety of dining ... options nearby made the Westin a pleasant place to stay. The Westin is undergoing some repair work that started pretty early in the morning (12/09). The sound hammering woke me prior to the alarm's beeping. The carpeting in the room was worn and stained, but the bathroom and beds were spotless. I would absolutely stay there again (but I's ask for a room further away from the renovations).

Worst Vacation Ever
VMan Dec 8, 2009
To start off our room wasnt ready when it was suppose to be. Then when we got in our room there was hair all over the shower ... and bed. Next day, we had no towels when we entered our room. Next day, our breakfast was late getting to us on our last day of the trip. There was no parking in the hotel for half the trip and when we did get to park in the hotel it was 22 dollars everytime we entered and exited. Plus to top it off, I wanted to treat my Fiance to an amazing dinner at the revolving restaurant and it was closed for remodeling. I hate complaining and when I did call down to the manager the did refund our money for the trip.

Good hotel but not a 4 Star
Cynthia Dec 5, 2009
The hotel is nice but not one of the best in Atlanta. The view is wonderful although we had cables outside our windows that ... swayed and were distracting. The second day we had a miserable man at the check-in desk. He should go home if he doesn't want to be working. Temp in room was hard to regulate. Resturant at top is closed due to hurricane damage. Would only recommend for the view not for the hotel itself.

The Westin is in an ideal location from downtown attractions; Olympic Park, the Atlanta Aquarium, Underground Atlanta, and ... CNN are minutes away. The Sundial Restaurant offers a breathtaking 360 view of the city, although it's pricey. The hotel is comfortable, upscale modern rooms, although the minibar left much to be desired. All staff were courteous and friendly; they will make you feel at home.

For a 4 star hotel, this was lacking. The carpet had dark circles of past events in the room and carpet was extremely worn. ... Also, the upholstery on the sofa was extremely dirty. Bathroom was clean. There was no robe that was described in the room description. I have had better rooms at Motel 6.

This is a wonderful hotel. Location was great. In the middle of downtown. There was plenty to do. The only thing was that The ... Westin Atlanta
Matt Sep 22, 2009
It was just as good if not better than i thought it would be. Its right in the middle of everything and no driving was ... neccessary to have a good time. The hard rock, and several other great restaraunts are right across the street. The hotel dining was excellent but a little pricey as expected. The pool and fitness center were very clean, and exceeded my expectations. The staff was very helpful with everything we needed and were all very friendly. I do not regret staying at the westin at all.

everything in and around the downtown area is pretty close , we walked to most of our locations . If coming from the airport we recommend taking the MARTA rail system , at a $1.75 a person it beats taking a $30 cab ride into downtown . Don't worry it's easy and everyones friendly .
