Nice Hotel

We needed a hotel for the last night of our vacation since the resort we stayed at was booked. Having read the [...] ... reviews, we decided upon this one. Of course it doesn't compare to the resort, but it was nice, clean and located close to restaurants and shops. The desk manager recommended a restaurant that was excellent. The room was clean and inviting. Nice breakfast included.

My stay was overall very good. There was a large shopping center/mall directly across the street with a lot of restaurants; ... however, I was very tired & wanted fast food but there were no nearby restaurants. I finally found an Arby's & McDonalds about 6 miles away but didn't have drive-thru windows & were very crowded inside. The hotel staff was very friendly & helpful & room was exceptionally clean which is suprising because it was inexpensive. It would be good if breakfast started at 6am & not 7. I would totally stay there again.

I was expecting the worst but was surprised as soon as I entered the lobby. Don't be fooled just because you paid less! ... This place will surprise you. Awesome room, clean, comfortable, quiet and staff were friendly.

Very clean and inviting lobby area. Quite and clean rooms. Three full size nice pillows on each bed. High end comforter ... and sheets. Excellent breakfast and free brew by the cup coffee machine (very good coffee). I could not beleive the price was so low for such a great hotel. I will stay here in the furture. Staff was helpful and very friendly.

We were in town for a show at Agua Caliente - a straight shot up Bob Hope Drive. Desk staff was friendly and efficient, which ... don't always go together.

The County Inn & Suites in Rancho Mirage was a comfortable, quiet hotel. The room was large with even a nice patio in the ... back. They have nice self-serve continental plus breakfast in the morning (cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, waffles, bagels, toast, etc.). The staff was pleasant. We had a very late night check in and back to the hotel late both nights that we were there and it always felt safe and the staff was always available and greeted us. We had a very early morning check out and again the staff was great. I would recommend this hotel as a very central convenient spot to stay in the area. Great Value for the price.

There is an Applebee's right across from the parking area and a more upscale restaurant Bing's across the street. There is also a Starbuck's right next to Bing's.
