Dirty and Old Hotel

My husband stayed over night in the hotel. He told me the hotel was old and unclean. The smell of the hotel was horrible. ... He slept there one night and left the next day even though he paid for 2 nights. He said he would not come back there again. It was not cheap at all as compared with another hotel. Because of the NASCAR race, all hotels at Homestead was expensive. That was why he stayed at this hotel.

Reasonable place

Not the greatest of the Inns I have been to but not the worst either. Proximity to the airport was a big plus and the free ... shuttle was great. There was also free coffee in the a.m. and in-house bar and restaurant. They also call a cab if needed. They have free cable TV too Tiny lobby with internet restricted to the Lobby it would be better if there was internet in the rooms. I visited the south coast beach which was a great experience. Overall, it was worth the cost

In spite of the two and a half hour wait for the van I found the small room had a comfortable bed with clean linen, hot ... running water and working A/C. The cable TV had only a few local channels and the remote did not work propoerly. I did not try the food in the adjacent restaurant/bar.

There is a Sports Bar At the Hotel And if you Eat there Try the Wings They Are Awsome lots of Beer Selections alittle Pricey I had a bud light Draft it was $3 and only 16oz alittle High but still good

If you arrive early, you canīt check in until 3 pm, and check out is at 11 am. The hotel needs more maintenance, and even ... when they offer breakfast it is not good at all, and there is no table or chairs to have brakfast.

When the wife and I stayed overnight on our trip out, the hotel served our purpose. On my wife's return alone, she felt the ... tub wasn't clean nor did it hold water for a bath. She didn't feel safe walking alone outside. A good rest for a man or a couple on the go.

Check-in/check-out was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. Room was great! It is not in the nicest corner of Miami, but it is ... very close to the airport. I have traveled to some pretty shady places in the world, so the partying and cops weren't a big deal to me, since they did not prevent me from getting a great night's sleep before my medical school interview the next morning. If I go to Miami again, unless I find a cheaper place to stay, I will be staying here again.

A place to stay when passing through

We arrived in Miami about 30 minutes late. The hotel has a singel shuttle van that is supposed to come every 20-45 minutes. ... We wiated about an hour and a half. The driver was curtious and drove safely. No airconditioning, very hot and muggy even at 1AM. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was only about 10 minutes from the airport and the free shuttle was helpful. The hotel itself was old and run down, dark halls and poor lighting. The ice machine did not work but the staff was helpful in fining me some ice. The room was small but adequate for a quick overnight. The room was shabby but no bugs and the airconditioner worked well. It did have a fridge, ironing board and iron, and a safe in the room. The bed was quite saggy with little support but the linnens were clean. All in all, the room filled our needs of a place to stay overnight on an airlines layover. The pool and outside area looked nice but we did not get a chance to use it. The friendly and helpful staff helped make up for what the facility was lacking. And at $45 in Miami it did the job. If I have another layover in Miami, I would look for other options but would go back if there was a large price differential in upgrading to a nicer place. For the price it did the job.

Stayed here during a long layover. I liked the low price, the rooms were ok, they seemed clean, but felt a little old and ... dingy. The "free shuttle" sucks, this was one of the main reasons I choose this hotel over others. The shuttle only comes once an hour on the hour, so we waited at the airport 40 mins, then in the morning, the shuttle starts at 5am, our flight was at 615am, we were the second people waiting, then when the driver showed up he started speaking spanish with a bunch of people who showed up after us, took their luggage and left us at the hotel, we almost missed our flight by the time he came back for us a 1/2 hour later (the airport is 2mins from the hotel). He was also rude about it. Also, when we left there was no one at the counter to check out with.

My stay there was very comfortable. I received all calls and faxes made to me through the hotel. The staff was friendly and ... helpful. The rooms were kinda dark but ideal for lots of rest.

The free breakfast consists of toast and jam with coffee. If you need a nicer breakfast, McDonald's is next door and iHop is a minute away. For lunch and dinner, a Sports bar is located right next door.

Just horrible! Huge party all night long in the room next door. Fearful to go to the lobby because I felt unsafe. Worried ... about the safety of my two children. Washers did not work. Filthy rooms. Do yourself a favor and find a room at another hotel!

In general the hotel was very dirty. Very loud noise all night long with excessive drunk partying next door. Fearful for ... safety and yet afraid to walk to the hotel desk to request a different room. Good location near airport, pool.
