Nice home base for wine country visit.

This hotel is spotless and has a very "new" feel. The staff was courteous and efficient. We really enjoyed the wine and ... cheese tasting in the evening, featuring some nice and affordable wines. The only thing that marred our visit was the complimentary breakfast, which was awful. All in all, though, I would still recommend this hotel, breakfast notwithstanding.

Hotel was located within a mile of Mid State Fair and 2 miles from the quaint downtown area. Nice complimentary breakfast and ... a Wine and Cheese tasting from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Nice dog run area. If you are traveling with a dog, this is the place to go. The hotel is very clean and well staffed.

Downtown area has many restaurants. Wide range of unique dishes. Small town atmosphere where the service is excellent. Wonderful park in the middle of town. All restaurants are within walking distance from the park.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Paso Robles was very comfortable, clean, & well maintained. My room was large with desk area & ... comfortable chairs. I was very impressed with the wall-mounted flat screen TV. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The location was good with restaurants and shopping a short drive away. Complimentary breakfast & evening wine & cheese receptions. Would stay again & would recommend.
