I was in Detroit to visit my daughter and the location next to the airport was perfect because I wasn't familiar with the ... area. I wished there had been a fitness center. The continental breakfast was fine and the rooms were clean and pleasant except for a moldy smell permeating the bathroom. Loved the free airport shuttle. The rate was very reasonable. The front desk staff would smoke right outside the front doors, with the smoke drifting into the hotel which wasn't too pleasant. Otherwise,would stay again.

Great Hotel- close to the airport- the shuttle service was great; the breakfast arrangement was awesome- you can make your ... own waffles; great arrangement for check-in since I got there at 9:00am and they were able to give me a room- Maureen was very helpful. Free and reliable Wi-Fi with great reception at the room. I will stay there again. My only regret is that breakfast is only until 9:00am- they should extended until 10:30am.

The hotel was fine for the money. It was older, but clean. The hotel in general smells like stale body odor. The room smelled ... a bit stale, but after leaving the window open while I was out, it was fine. I couldn't eat the complimentary breakfast because it was all carbohydrates. My laptop crashed,and a business center would have been helpful. I was not expecting a 5 star hotel, so my expectations were low and it was about what I thought it would be.

What a great experience! The rooms were very clean, the staff provided the best customer service. We were able to walk from ... the hotel to restaurants. The breakfast had so much to offer. Our first stay at Baymont Suites, but not our last! Thanks for a wonderful start to our vacation. We stayed here because it was close to DTW airport and provided free shuttle.

The reason why I choose this hotel was because for one, it was close to the airport and they offered a courtesy 24 hr. ... shuttle to the airport. The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was pretty good. Most of the hotels that I've gone to only offer small muffins, stale bagels, cereal, milk, and coffee. However this hotel offered a waffle maker along with the waffle mix that dispenses from a machine, 4 different types of cereal, two different kinds of milk, 4 didn't kinds of coffee, hard boiled eggs, juice, fruit, and french toast. The only bad thing about this place is, nothing else is around but other hotels. There is a Big Boy, McDonalds, and a few other eateries, but they are at least a mile away. I didn't have a car, so it took awhile walking.
