The experience was great!! the hotel is beautiful, and the staff was friendly, Its is also in a great location, with lots of ... dining near by. The only neggative thing I have to say is breakfast cost way to much and $25 for parking is outrageous. Overall this is a nice hotel I would definitly book through [...] again and stay at the hyatt regemncy again. Thank You!!

Not Impressed
Travels for Business Oct 13, 2009
They charge $10 to use the business center or to connect to Wi-Fi on your laptop. The rooms were small and unimpressive. The ... staff was okay and there are pretty good amenities but, overall I was very unimpressed. In the future I will stick to the Hilton line of hotels or Marriott's as there seemed to be disappointment at every turn with this Hyatt.

I sincerely enjoyed myself. Wonderful location, beautiful room and fixtures, remarkable service. And the price? That was best ... of all! I've stayed in places where I've paid double and wasn't half as happy as I was with the Hyatt. I'm planning another weekend trip just to go back!

Mixed reviews
Long Tall Sally Oct 4, 2009
I was at the Hyatt Crystal City for a conference. The staff is very friendly, the hotel attractive, and the fitness center ... probably the best I have seen in a hotel. However, I had to pay an extra $10 a day for internet access, AND I had so much trouble with it that I spent considerable time calling tech support (they were good about taking the charges off my bill, but really.) The fancy restaurant at the top of the hotel is very expensive and I was not pleasantly greeted, as a woman alone who was looking for a light meal. My main disappointment is that Crystal City is sort of a non-place. It's a cluster of hotels located in this corner of Arlington to be near Reagan National--but nothing else. I'll stay in a more interesting neighborhood next time when I select the hotel myself. Finally, I'm from Boston, where Hyatt just fired ALL the cleaning staff and hired temporaries as an economy measure. Way to treat your good staff, Hyatt! You have a major black eye.

Get GPS! If you rent a car for travel or have an internet/GPS capable phone, GPS is a must! The public transportation is very good since parking is at a premium, but take into account that it is subject to delays depending on what is going on in the city.
--Peach and Pear, Las Vegas, NV Sep 14, 2009
There is not a lot of nightlife readily available near the hotel. So just keep in mind that you will have to take a taxi to any night activities. However, the club does occassionally rent its bottom floor to party promoters so you may have a party in the hotel.
