Beautiful Resort
Tiffany Oct 4, 2009
The pool and grounds in general were absolutely beautiful! There service was terrible. The first morning-at 6:30 AM- a ... sewer trunk was RIGHT outside of our door until 11:00 AM straight!!! Super noisy and smelly. There were 3 of us in the room. There were only 2 robes. We asked for a 3rd one. They never brought it the entire stay!. The second night, there were about 10 phone books and 3 folding chairs and garbage outside of our room for the entire day. We had to call two times before they came to pick it up. Still not sure how it got there or why it was sitting there. We had to climb over it to get to our room.

Nice pool, dirty room
Vandy838 Sep 14, 2009
Dead bugs in the room, broken phones, keys did not work, and the shower was covered in filth. The pool was nice and the lazy ... river was relaxing but the dirtiness of the room left a bad impression. Front desk gave a fifty dollar credit which even make much of a dent in the dinner at the blue ember resturant. Also, underestimated the amount of kids at this resort. It was like romper room. Would not consider staying there again and would not recommend it to others.

It was great except that when we got there the computers were down, so it took a while to get our keys. Then when we got to ... our room and opened the door it was already occupied by other guests. So i had to pack the car back up and go back to the main building. Then we got another room, butthe whole time my widfe was worried that someone would get checked into our room.

Restful Relaxation!
Donna Aug 28, 2009
My daughter and I went to the spa for a end of summer get away and we were not disappointed. We used the adult pool and the ... spa pool. We enjoyed excellent pool service at both. The food and drinks were wonderful. The fitness room was up to date, air conditioned and clean. We went across the street for dinner to "The River" and ate at Maki a Sushi place. We enjoyed two days of spa services and almost had the place to ourselves. We had a fabulous time!

Great Family Vacation
Shannon Jul 13, 2009
The room was a little small for the 5 of us and they did not have roll away beds or a couch for 3rd child. The carpet was ... pretty dirty w/ dead flies & bugs as well as the bathroom. However, we all enjoyed ourselves and the kids really liked the pool and waterslides. Very kid friendly hotel.

We loved this resort. The rooms were large and plush. The balcony overlooking the golf course was good size and private in ... its design. Loved that there were only a few rooms in each building. It felt very private and peaceful. We did not get to check out Splashtopia but it looked great and we will be bringing the kids back to test it out.

Perfect relaxing gettaway!
Patricia May 4, 2009
I really did not know what to expect...value & luxury do not always go together. Rancho Las Palmas was the best, top notch ... staff, excellent food. I always stay in the city of Palm Springs but I will not be doing that anymore. Rancho Mirage was perfect. Near the Agua Caliente Casino, great shopping and eating nearby. I think that next time, I will just stay longer at the resort and enjoy the property anemnities, ie, spa, golfing, shopping and pools. Very relaxing. Every morning, I would open up my doors to the fabulously manicured golf course, drink my coffee and watch the beautiful birds and ducks that went bye. I cannot say enough about the staff that work there, friendly and very service oriented. You park right next to your room. I will definitely stay at Rancho Las Palmas again!

Walt May 4, 2009
Our objective was to do nothing but relax for the weekend. The adult pool with hot tub was just the answer, but the pool ... deck was filthy, the service to the pool for drinks and food was non-existent. The grounds, room, primary restaurant and entertainment were truly 5 star in quality and service.
Traveler type: Couples
The service, food and entertainment were the highlight of the weekend. Also, we were impressed with the wine selection, but we expected that, given our favorite wines are from California!

dissapointed!! Overrated!!
liz May 4, 2009
The photos of the hotel are very deceiving. Unless you want to lounge at the pool with tons of kids you need to be at the ... adult pool which is VERY small and No drink/food service. On saturday there was a waiter coming around asking for drinks but it was only for a couple of hours. Noone on Sunday and no drinking water at the pool! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, my husband wanted a noodle dish, (which happened to be the cheapest item on the menu), ironically they did not have it that night. I felt it was a nice hotel, very overpriced for what you get!! Would NOT go there again.
