Dingy, run down hotel

The room was clean but run down, old hardware on walls from things that once hung there and some stained and sun faded old ... wallpaper. Very noisy..you could hear the people in the room above and in the two rooms next to us. The noise outside and in the hallways was pretty loud. The staff was very gracious and helpful - very good service.

problems

The Marina Del Ray Hotel was a little disappointing. They were doing construction, the bathtub and toilet had hair in it ... when we arrived. We also noticed a problem with flying bugs, possibly termites. This was are first trip to LA and If we return we will probally select another hotel.
