New parking fees...a real bummer
Zach Nov 19, 2009
Hotel has added parking fees since we have been last time. The fees were somewhat minimal, but it was such a nice feature ... that the hotel had complimentary parking in the past. Just one of those little things that would make you consider staying in a different hotel.

Our family stayed at Fairfield inn for another venture into Disneyland. This motel is in a great location, and they charge ... accordingly, now even for parking! Do they really need the extra $5.00 on top the hefty room charge?? There certainly doesn't appear to be a lack of parking on site as most spaces were vacant! Also the motel really is dated with the old outdoor entrances from the concrete walkways, which result in high noise levels late at night when people are returning to their nearby rooms. Also make sure to avoid rooms near the stairwells.

Good place to stay!
Tracy Oct 12, 2009
I thought the Fairfield Inn was a nice place to stay. We did have a problem with the toilet but they quickly sent someone up ... to fix it and then later the front desk called to make sure it was ok. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. The only thing that bothered me was that I found a shirt under the bed and also a tag to some clothing on the couch which made me wonder how clean these rooms actually were. The same shirt was still under the bed when we left. The room appeared clean other than that. Overall it was a good place to stay.A nice short walk to Disney!

Great location - easy walking distance to Disneyland and California Adventures attractions. Friendly, accommodating staff ... allowed us early check-in and late check-out. Room was clean and daily maid service was excellent. Rooms show a little wear and tear and were a little small for four of us but then we didn't spend much time in it anyway so overall it was a good value.

hotel was cheaper w/other internet booki
supersaver Sep 19, 2009
really liked this hotel. I found it a lot cheaper after I had booked with orbitz already. Will definitely go with other ... internet booking service next time. I paid 104 every night. Other internet booking service was 84 every night and when you are going to a theme park, every little dollar counts because the food prices and gas prices in the area are outrageously jacked up. I wished it had a microwave in the room. It was nice to have the Pizza hut on the 3rd floor, but it was expensive and you had no way to reheat it. Over all, I would stay here again though.

Friendly staff... :) The hotel was not as clean as I would have liked.:( Years of Grime... But the rooms were nice size and ... the beds were clean and comfortable. This was the first time I stayed at a Fairfield. Its similar to Super 8. We would have left on check in if we had not prepaid with Cheap Tickets And were going to be there more than 3 nights. Also, California in general is very expensive for a family of 4 to eat dinner is $100 or more unless you eat fast food... it (the hotel) was a good budget save. Also Website indicates pull out sofa... its a chair. Compared to a Holiday Inn Express, I would take it over this. But we wanted less expensive and close walk to disney. Which is what we got!

You can walk across the street to Disneyland, California Adventure and Downtown Disney! Aprox 3 blocks. We got confused and thought we had to walk all the way around block. NOT. its 1 block up the road and across the street less than 2 blocks for the center of the 3 attractions.

VMK Jul 15, 2009
It is a pleasant stay at this Hotel, we stayed here for three days to visit Disneyland and Universal studios with our 6 ... months infant. Good and clean room. Very near and walkable distance to Disneyland with good parking facility. Good location to view fireworks from room. we stayed in 6 floor. one thing which we find difficult is the access to microwave oven, it is not in the room, you have to go to cafeteria to use it. which is in 3rd floor.

If you are leaving your car at the hotel, check in at the front desk even if it's not check-in time yet. Parking is tight when the hotel is sold out and if you don't have a pass on your car, you will get towed. They will do a pre-checkin for you.
