- Arrived at 5:30 PM, had to wait 20 minutes for desk clerk to show up to allow us to check in. No air conditioning in hotel ... corridors, very hot and steamy. Room did have portable air conditioner which worked but was VERY loud. Carpeting, furniture etc very worn. Hotel needs some updating.

Terrific convenience store/deli very nearby. Great assortment or readymade foods and nice selection of items to cook. In close proximity to other excellent restaurants and not far from Rutland, VT.

There are many food options close by on Route 4, a short drive away.

Lovely room with high ceilings. Excellent value for the "orbitz special" price. Cold feeling when entering the lobby in the ... summer but probably a very different feel when large fireplace is going. Food was ok but not exceptional.

off season in Vermont
mother of three Jun 9, 2009
Beautiful location, quiet and restful. The room was spacious and fairly clean. The hotel is starting to show its age and ... generally not well maintained. The bathroom especially could use some TLC. The bathtub was rusty and the tiles were chipped. The breakfast was the worst I have ever seen. Bread, grape jelly, butter and cream cheese, Cheerios and Raisin Bran cereal and instant oatmeal packages plus some oranges describe it all. The staff was not overly friendly or helpful.

Disappointing
Jessika May 26, 2008
The staff were above and beyond friendly and accommodating, but the overall experience was not as expected. The hotel was ... old, shabby, and unclean. There were no dining options available, and there was nothing nearby to accommodate travelers during the non-ski season. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, the air conditioning was inadequate on nights that were warm. The outdoor pool wasn't open - closed for maintenance. The level of noise outside my room on the second floor made it impossible for me to keep my windows open on cool days (to avoid the bad air conditioning). Overall not a good experience at all, and definitely not satisfied with my stay at this hotel. However, the staff were fabulous...wish there were people that friendly and conscientious at NICE hotels!

The stay was okay, staff at least at the front desk were good, didn't really see anyone else, rooms were on the small side, ... price was fair, good location but I think I would check other places in the area to see if they have more to offer.

Great location
Lisa Oct 21, 2007
The Inn at Six Mountains has a great location and the possibility of being a great hotel during the busy season. The dinner ... restaurant was closed and although there are plenty of restaurants nearby it would've been nice to have been told at check in. The room was spacious, nicely furnished and relatively clean.

Heart of Killington
HOWARD Sep 23, 2007
Recently, I stayed at the Inn at Six Mountains and found the location to be excellent. It's located directly in the heart of ... Killington on Killington Road. The holtel is adjacent to the Killington Golf Resort and is easily accessed. The holtel has a nice pool when visting in the summer and beautiful views of the foliage in the fall. There are many excellent restaurants in the very near surroundings. There are a number of quaint shopping stores and areas such as Woodstock in the neighboring town. Skiing is unsurpassed in the winter and a great place for a for a long weekend with your parnter or with the whole family.
